This thread can also be used for discussion throughout the tournament.
As usual, getting a bracket together with some friends n such if anyone is interested. Selection Sunday is this weekend and we will get it going soon after since the games start up pretty quickly.
I'm sure someone else will start up a thread for a free bracket for those who don't want to play for money.
Here's the link to last years thread. blkroadrunners took down first place last year.
We usually have around 15-20 people join.
Scoring system will most likely be the same as last year as it worked out well and I will post all that good info as the date gets closer.
Each bracket is $20.00 and this can be made through check or paypal. I will post the group ID and Password once we get it all set up.

SCORING:
The scoring system used will be the Progressive scoring system ( 1-2-3-4-6-8) with upset pick bonuses on the round of 64 (1 pt) and round of 32 (1 pt).
Round of 64 - 1 pt per correct pick with 1 pt bonus per upset pick
Round of 32 - 2 pts per correct pick with 1 pt bonus per upset pick
Regional Semis - 3 pts per correct pick
Regional Finals - 4 pts per correct pick
Semi-Finals - 6 pts per correct pick
Championship game - 8 pts per correct pick.

Some tough games in the south.
Wow this Midwest region is insane.
UCLA will be a for Florida.
Love AZs bracket. Some tough individual talents, but I'm loving it.
South and Midwest are killers. Florida got a lot of undervalued/underachieving teams, but with real talent, and Wichita is ed over for not playing any team of note in months. They might be out in Round of 32.
SMU got screwed...

Arizona has some tough teams in their bracket. San Diego State and Oklahoma State will be tough outs. I agree though, they got it easy compared to Florida...
Haha it's all good. I think Zona has a nice draw. Wichita state has a horrible path.
San Diego State is a mirror image, only Arizona is more athletic, longer, and SD fans don't travel like AZ fans, so I'm confident there.
Oklahoma State is tough. But Arizona is actually better with dominant star teams than balanced, highly offensive teams, so while maybe their toughest draw until Elite 8, these are better matchups than teams built like Oregon/UCLA.
So is Wichita State gonna even make it to the Sweet Sixteen?
IF SDSU plays Arizona, it will be in Anaheim. SDSU fans wouldn't need to travel that is only two hours or so.

You don't have fans like Arizona has fans.
It's certainly going to be a tough game, but for as good as SDSU's defense is, Arizona's is better and for as iffy as Arizona's offense can be, SDSU's is worse.
I wouldn't sleep on NDSU. The school has a history in this tournament along w/ a vet squad who could potentially upset OU (whom I find overrated).

Yea, there really isn't a team playing in Spokane dominate from the others. It could be like a FGC-scenario from last year, imo.

Any chance you can look at old brackets you've made in the past? I usually make mine at cbssports and yahoo. Picking this is the hardest thing to pick in sports.
