March Madness bracket

I will be putting together another NCAA Tournament bracket this year. I will run it through Yahoo and it is $20.00 per bracket. You can mail a check or pay through PayPal (+fees). We have usually had around 15-20 people in the group.

The bracket will be announced later tonight and the first round will start Thursday (we are not picking the play-in games).

The scoring system used will be the Progressive scoring system ( 1-2-3-4-5-6) with upset pick bonuses on the round of 64 (2 pts) and round of 32 (1 pt).

Round of 64 - 1 pt per correct pick with 2 pt bonus per upset pick
Round of 32 - 2 pts per correct pick with 1 pt bonus per upset pick
Regional Semis - 3 pts per correct pick
Regional Finals - 4 pts per correct pick
Semi-Finals - 5 pts per correct pick
Championship game - 6 pts per correct pick.

This style of scoring system keeps the game interesting past round one and keeps people in the game until the very end.
