Hasn't been a cold winter for me. Out west its been really warm all winter. Record highs in January and February. No snow for a 6 week period in the height of our main snow fall season.

The thing is that it is entirely possible for one continent to get cooler, and the rest of the planet to get warmer, if weather patterns change. The aggregate would still be an overall warming trend.
