    Phil Jackson is something of a relic now. I remember he used to insult the Spurs' braintrust by calling them the "simulator crew," which implied they have no real knowledge of the game because they didn't play in the NBA. Funny enough, the Spurs FO has been the most influential over the past 15 years while the Triangle gets ever closer to the dustbin of history.

    he was a ty player but a great coach, and i doubt his coaching had to do with his height

    Is there any potential collusion issues related to Phil Jackson's hiring by the Knicks and his fiancee Jeanne Buss? What if Carmello gets traded to the Lakers next year for Pau Gasol/Steve Nash? Any deals between the two teams will be scrutinized.

    Damn you and Harlem went in. I do think it would have been interesting to see PJ and the triangle wage battle versus the analytics driven modern era.
    But if you gave PJ a stacked roster I still thinks he wins out ... With a stacked squad only Riles is his equal ...
