The fact that Tiger has always been the biggest earner in the domain of sports has to be largely attributed to the common wealth of golf audiences imho. People who watch golf and participate in it are mostly filthy rich, while those who watch basketball are just common folks like you and me. One can be a good golfer even with your grandma's athleticism, tbh, golfers are not real athletes at all.
