I don't see where this shows what's wrong with cops. Old man made a dumb mistake, then the cop made a dumb mistake.
a guy armed with a lethal weapon can't just "make dumb mistakes"
Well as long as they are human they will occasionally. Still no abuse of power here, just an example of why you should stay in your car if you get pulled over.

He grabbed for a cane in a place many hicks carry shotguns, he was a step away from suicide by cop.
I hate cops but this vid isn't a good example, I can see how he thought the cane was a shotgun. There was this vid about this new cop on the job pulling over an old vietnam vet. who was insane. The vietnam vet who had real combat training easily gunned him down and killed him in a couple of minutes after making him suffer by a shot in the eye.
