Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose calling the game on ESPN. So at least that's something fresh even if most of the talk will probably be bla bla bla Lakers bla bla bla some Knicks and Phil Jackson bla bla bla bla and ignore the Spurs as much as possible.

Jalen Rose yes, but Bill Simmons should be fine. He loves TD and is a big Pop fan too.
Jalen is terrible and Simmons is way worse as a TV personality. Luckily, I'll have the Lakers broadcast where I'll have the great Stu Lantz who s on the Lakers better than anybody on this board tbh.
I can't stand Stu Lantz, and Sunderland is probably my least favorite play by play guy out there

Stu is the best and Bill McDonald is the play by play guy on TV, who is terrible and is disturbingly orange skinned. I also enjoy Mychal Thompson (Klay's dad) when I used to be stuck listening to radio broadcasts but despise John Ireland who is the biggest prick in SoCal sports talk tbh, even more than Kellerman.

Yeah I think he was the immediate replacement after Chick died then it was Joel and now Bill who I agree is terrible at those "wow" plays. I just like Stu because he's less homerish than your average commentator. He slurps kobe of course but he's been pretty funny at ting on this year's squad.

Meyers always rubbed me the wrong way. I liked the Spero guy who I think does Knicks games now.
Basically, when I heard it was Tirico/Jalen/Bill, I pretty much Noped right outta that broadcast tbh.
