Brooks said Westbrook definitely would sit for some of them.
"There's going to be some back-to-backs he's not going to play," Brooks told reporters, according to the Daily Oklahoman. "We definitely have a plan in place."
Brooks added that Westbrook's "conditioning is great."
"We just want to get some time, while we still can, where he can rest in between games," the coach said.
Why just back to backs? Just bring him back for the playoffs if need be. Way to up rythm Brooks.

Difference is Westbrook was rushed back from injury.

I think that it would be more of a flow killer for him to not play at all, then suddenly be there in the playoffs. That being said, I hope that they didn't rush him back and that he is cleared to play, only that they are being very careful
it confuses me as well tbh. they're supposed to be all out fighting for the regular season championship at the moment, which would be the finest complementary to such an outstanding season for Durant (who's tipped for the regular season MVP).
