They also got to face every good team on the second night of a back-to-back when they were tired and not quite adjusted to the regular-season grind yet

Just looked and you are right. There schedule isn't particularly tough the rest of the way, but they play both Phoenix and Memphis in the next few games... they wouldn't want to lose both of those ones.
