She's just a bandwagon fan for whichever team is in vogue. I remember she was rooting for OKC in 2012, for example. She roots for the Lakers against us also, although now that the Lakers are awful I haven't heard a peep from her.
The instant the Lakers become relevant again she'll probably start talking on their behalf.

But my overall impression of Jemele Hill is that she's a poorly educated, unattractive hack who has no business being on television. It's pretty clear that she doesn't watch even 5% of the games that she provides commentary on.
Contrast her to someone like Marc Stein who clearly has a working knowledge of pretty much every team in the league. You can tell he puts in the work try and get a sense for every team in the league and not just his home team Mavericks.

In fairness, ESPN has a few basketball analyst without bias, but the rest are hacks. I watch ESPN 10% of the time now, that's it.
