    Metta World Peace says he will name his children after San Antonio Spurs

    It appears as if Metta World Peace has a bit of an obsession with the San Antonio Spurs.

    World Peace, who was let go by the New York Knicks earlier this season, currently sits void of a team – though it sure sounds as if he’d like to take a trip to the Alamo and sign with the Spurs if given the opportunity.

    MWP took to Twitter on Tuesday evening and couldn’t hide his feelings towards the Spurs, praising their team play – even suggesting that when he has ten children (!!!) he’ll name them after members of the Spurs team.
    "When I have ten kids , I will name them all Spurs players name. Even the girls. We will be a family."

    Of course, this is the same man who recently danced on camera wearing Cookie Monster pajamas.
    In all seriousness though, the man formerly known as Ron Artest was simply attempting to give the Spurs credit for their fantastic team play and opted to do so in a relatively amusing way.
