You know, we can't underestimate Denver's heart either. They've been playing tough lately and did beat OKC recently.

Well, again, my comments (can't speak for others) stem from this entire season's body of work. Tonight is a reminder (as you see, the Spurs did need him tonight) and he just hasn't been very good despite getting ample rest and limited minutes.
He's averaging 18 and 6 this season. Just turrible. How does this guy have a starting job?

At least the Spurs will be better prepared in Denver and Pop will have their attention after tonight.

Nobody hates Parker. He's a top 5 spurs blah blah blah. We all fell for the mvparker bs.
A team goes as far as their defensive anchor in the post takes them... this is shocking to you?

Don't be obtuse. Would you say, for TP's standards, this year has been a good one for him?

Because so many guards draw doubles 30 feet from the hoop in the NBA.

    Basic comprehension of basketball.

You are wasting your energy. We'll just have to wait until the playoffs (actually the second round) until this argument can be decided.

It's been good. Not great. 18/6 in 28-29 minutes on a fantastic team with our ball movement is actually very respectable. I'm concerned about his health just like everyone else. But you guys are already hammering nails into his coffin, which seems a bit premature given that we have the best record in the league by soon to be 3 games and Pop isn't even playing Parker 30 minutes per this season.

If Tony was going for 24/8 every game he'd be accused of statpadding, heroballing, ballhogging, because this offense is "SO EFFICIENT OMG WHY DOES THIS GUY TAKE 15 SHOTS PER GAME" etc.

Denver commentators right after that TD bucket: "Oh and a NICE push in the back by Duncan right there."

Agreed. Denver usually plays up (or down) to the caliber of their opponent. We are going to have to be ready to play in Denver if we hope to extend the streak.

No, it's because TP is selfish, hero ball scrub, that maybe moves the ball 60% as much as he should, actually.

What an ugly second half.. really ugly.. but still found a way to win. Would've been easy to just say f*ck it and let this one go after winning 14 straight but they battled tough and pulled it out. Good win.
