This ing blows. Why always our good players? Why not Ayres?![]()
hold on, hold on.... Empire Strikes Back!
just a foot sprain ....theres no doubt about it danny will be ready come playoffs.....people are making a big deal about it
The Marco signing becomes that much more pivotal. R.I.P Danny Green.
Danny Green did say he doesn't expect to miss any games, & Popovich didn't rule him out Friday
He said that after the game?
I really would prefer him to miss our next 2 games...although if it is in fact plantar fascitiis, 3 or 4 extra days off isn't going to make a big difference.
It's okay guys, at least Amused was able to use his "Denver McNuggets" pun tbh.
he should rest intill the indie game...
Like Timmy did years ago. DG is no Timmy but several players play through plantar fasciitis. It's something you deal with. As a long-distance runner, I've had it a couple times and dealt with it just fine. Now we're talking about a millionaire with better resources dealing with it. He'll be fine.
That is excellent to hear. Hopefully this is no big deal.
He's getting an x-ray. this is not a good sign. that guy is indispensable for the team. and players do not recover from leg injuries quickly.
if it's plantar fascitis then i'm pretty concerned tbh. that lingers and hurts like crazy
we didnt even see anything happen to him
Dannys been having alot of mild injuries that he tells Pop and he says hes gametime decision then he ends up playing
his hand had been bothering him for a couple games but he still played well and was draining 3s
I remember him being 50/50 to play in the Portland game and he came out firing
It's something many athletes deal with and with proper treatment, he should be able to play through it and still do the same things to his ability. If he were an explosive player, then yes, it would be concerning but it shouldn't affect his game.
Plantar fasciitis was often used as the go to "injury" that teams would list to keep 15 guys on the active roster, back when you could only carry 12 active players.
Hope it's nothing serious. Danny's been important to the team lately.
Who gets the start on Friday?
I'd start Joseph if Green can't go against Denver. Keeps the bench together and allows someone to defend Foye.
I'm concerned with PF. Green needs his athleticism to defend at a high level. Kawhi is going to have his work cut out for him.
Man...y'all are a bunch of ing rays of sunshine ain't ya...Green will be fine...relax...
May be nothing, may be big. Depends on what this shows. I think Pop's "plantar fasciatis (sp)" was offhand, not a diagnosis. He said "all of a sudden he couldn't walk" Could be a foot strain, bone bruise, break. We'll have to wait a see.
So we would rely on Marco's D? Well we'll be dead...
