He's not a huge piece for Houston, but it is a noticeable loss for them. Their already shaky defense just got worse.

It would push Lin into the SL, which hurts them as he's a fine sixth man who struggles for touches with the first unit. Also while Beverly is overrated as a defender, he's their best option on Parker.
Morey wishes he could take back that Aaron Brooks deal tbh.

Beverley is one of my guys. I despise most of his Rockets teammates, but he was a boss. Get well!
It should help the Spurs a little bit though in a potential series because they have to start Lin, who's been an inconsistent starter.

Tbh, we may also lose in the 1st round if memphis creeps up...Lin is far too erratic to be a starter and this team really relied on Beverly's defense and energy. Oh well it was a good season.

That was my immediate reaction to the headline.
Tough hit for the Rockets. Beverly was one of the glue guys that was keeping things together. Runs the offense, plays decent D, and lets Beardy and DHoe do their thing. Especially since they don't readily have somebody to step into that spot, gonna say that's a pretty big blow.

My mistake, I wasn't trying to say that all the people in this thread were saying that, I was saying that "all of the people who had brought up Karma"-- were classless.
So, the Rockets go from a 7 man rotation to a 6 man rotation. Ouch ...
He is tied for 6th in defensive rating with 107. Thats the same as Parker's who has the worst D rating on the Spurs. D12 is far far away their best defender with a D rating of 100
