Probably not and I wasn't completely insinuating that Strong will end up the same as Fran but I just remember this song and dance too well so call me skeptical. Fran ran a lot of guys off when he was hired and was said to be bringing in much superior talent of his own except it never happened. I don't know if it was him or just the media but they played the whole tough guy/tough camp thing into the ground when he got to A&M (stripping players of putting last names on their jerseys, etc). The guy also took over for a legend in Slo . A lot of similarities.
When Sherman was hired and later Sumlin, I didn't here any hoopla like that. Sherman brought a very professional approach and outlook to a locker room that was in shambles. He came from the NFL so players listened. Later, when Sumlin was picked, he brought fun back to the lockeroom.

I'm actually finding it entertaining that aggy is the one on the offensive ITT. Usually when UT/A&M fans go at it in this forum, the UT folks are the aggressors.
