This from the best source we have on raiderfans.net. I trust his posts more than any reporter speculating tbh

Sources close to Raiderfans.net are reporting that many within the Raiders organization feel that Desean Jackson will sign a long-term contract with the Redskins soon. The Raiders are still pursing Jackson, but as of 8:00am this morning (PST), it appears he is favoring a deal with Washington.

More news as we hear it...

True it really depends on RG3. It's so unpredictable how he will be going forward imo, but at the same time if anyone is going to use all the negativity this past season as motivation, and make a comeback. It will forsure be Griffin. He looks like he has been working his ass off so for this offseason. Hatcher,Clark,Jackson,Roberts and Porter have been amazing signings this offseason. Hopefully they can get a solid right tackle in the second round, and use the other picks to upgrade the defense for the future. Maybe get a punter in the 7th round also .

i think the fanbase is allowed to beg, the franchise doing so would have been embarrassing as tho. its hard to say the raiders begged considering we never actually met with him nor offered an official contract

RG3 has DeSean and Garcon on the outsides, with Jordan Reed/Andre Roberts down the middle. the weapons are there

DeSean Jackson's 3-yr deal with the Redskins is worth $24 million, including $16 million guaranteed, per darrenHeitner.

Better than I thought. Could've been worse

didn't take long at all for super thug jackson to find a squad. if rg3 can stay healthy, they are going to be a deadly offense.

The more this plays out, it feels as if this was something personal between Jackson and some part of the staff/upper management. He probably could've squeezed another million, and played in his home state of California. But instead, he goes to Washington to play against Philadelphia twice a year . Although, Washington does have a young offensive nucleus with potential in place so it does make football sense comparatively to Oakland where it seems they are in flux to some extent.
