You sick son of a .
The main story on NBA.com is "Kevin Durant closes in on one of MJ's records"
You sick son of a .
in 2010 playblair correctly predicted keith bogans would stop the kevin durant scoring streak ...............
yo can you guys imagine the whistles for kd if he's going after the streak?
i can hear them already. seriously
Ibaka goes 10/10, Fischer scores 15 and it's over... I don't even care if the Spurs lose by 20... It's not playoffs.
I say play the Thunder at full strength. If Spurs win it pretty much gives them the top seed for all the playoffs. If they lose at least you can see where to make adjustments if they get a playoff matchup against them.
Just be here at the end of game. That's all I ask you -talkers.
Any word on lineups for tonight? It's almost 4:30 so I feel like we should have word by now...
Cleveland swept the season series in 2007
The Spurs have nothing to gain by playing everyone tonight. Really hope Pop sits all the starters tonight.
They could pretty much put the top-seed race to bed by winning, but other than that, sure.
A little over 2 hours to tipoff and no lineups yet. Surely they've notified the NBA of anyone who isn't suiting up, but WHY CAN'T I KNOW
I believe that teams have until one before game time to submit active/inactive lists.
Could also be a game of chicken going on. OKC has to decide whether to play Westbrook tonight or tomorrow night in Houston. I'm sure Brooks would like to know what Pop is doing before making his decision.
Tim and Manu only played 20 min. last night so I would say that they'll play. Not sure about Tony, if Pop still wants to rest him. It wouldn't surprise me if they all sit.
But they're from the East, so we probably only played them once or twice. To lose to the same team 4 times would look really bad. It wouldn't be devastating, but I'm just saying it would be great to stifle that.
The only time that losing to the same team 4 times is bad is in the playoffs.
Really don't see the point in playing the full rotation, tbh..
To whoop their ass.....
Ginobili is out tho
Well, Ginobili is sitting for the Spurs, so we will see if Thunder sit anyone tonight. My guess is that they go all out because they really want the psychological edge that they believe a season sweep will give them.
It would be pretty demoralizing to lose to them again, especially during a stretch where the Spurs are peaking, tbh..
Mentally, there's more to lose from losing to them than their would be to gain from beating them IMO..
Scrubs like the Starvin' Somalian Reggie Jackson and that ugly-ass ostrich looking Lamb play off rhythm and confidence, tbh, Spurs can't allow them to continue thriving..
The sky's going to fall on ESPN and NBAtv if SA wins by double figs tonight and Durant's scoring streak gets snapped.![]()
This is what I was thinking. Not sure why we're going for it, but whatever. Let's win.
If we lose despite sitting Manu out it's gonna hurt fellas![]()
