I care about HCA and with this loss, we gave the Thunder a decent shot at taking that away from us.
We'll see. I'm an older fan, so all this is gravy to me.

we've known all along that OKC is our toughest matchup, even moreso than Miami. they have the same perimeter athleticism, but with a solid interior defense. I think it also hurt that we were on the 2nd of a b2b, 5th game in 8 days or something like that, and OKC was coming off 4 days rest and the game was in Methland. A lot of factors against us in this game, but the team showed in the 1st that they can still grind out points against this team.

The issue is, we aren't going to get our fancy pocket passes for layups against them. That's been their gameplan against us for a while. They challenge us to score 1 on 1, and play the pnr in a way to give us jump shots, which we're going to have to take/make. Even if we aren't scoring, we defend them pretty well. The issue is when we start committing turnovers and they start getting runouts... we ended the game with 18 turnovers. They're the toughest matchup, but it would be foolish to say "the spurs can't beat the thunder"

this team bullied and toyed with the Spurs. if they're weak, Spurs are a bunch of women tbh
crofl, the Spurs didn't play well, and they still struggled to beat us at their place... Beli did look like a woman though, but it's expected when Manu isn't there to hold his hand, as I've been saying all along.

yeah, but even today he held him to 28 points in 26 shots, and this is with 4 days of rest... this Thunder team is weak, tbh... huge difference when they had Harden off the bench...
still got that whistle though. how long that Favored Nation status last for?

I'm not that young. It isn't an age issue, but more power to you, bro.

The Spurs can't do anything about that. They just gotta make their shots and play through it. It is what it is.

Sterns ghost loomed large this game. back to back 5th game in 7 nights thunder off for 3 day aside. The refs, first half in particular were as bad as you will ever see. Which lead to Kahwi not starting the 2nd half and what a surprise the thunder go on a run in the 3rd quarter. No Manu and Pop threw the towel in early. The non-calls become layups against this team while we can't even look at them without a whistle. The nba agenda is so transparent those sucking son of a es.

resting only Manu is so re ed

either go for the win or don't. taking away one of your most valuable pieces in whats already going to be a tough road b2b game is re ed. if he wanted to rest, should have gone all out. imo we should have played everybody. i think things could have gone differently if we had an additional able ballhandler, which belli clealry isn't

FT is not that important. You can't imagine a team with such physical D fouls even less than Spurs.

Spurs losses are never their fault. It's either injuries, refs or Stern's fault.

inconsistency is the issue. we got hammered in the paint plenty, westbrook had some blatant reaches from behind parker, etc. the spurs were getting fouls called for the same crap on the other end.

although the officiating was already poor in the 1st half, we held a lead. we lost the game with turnovers

we lost the game with turnovers
Well, when one team can hack and foul at will and not get whistled, then they will have a decisive advantage in the turnover department.

i agree to an extent, but we kept trying to fit little bounce passes on the pick and roll when OKC was clearly playing that pass all game long

I wasn't trying to say it was the officials' fault. I haven't seen the game, yet. I just was noticing the FT differential. 11 more is basically the winning margin in the game, rt. there.

    thunder: 20/23 ft
    spurs: 9/12

you can either blame that on refs or lack of agressiveness

Decent shot is a stretch. They are still 3 games back and 2 back in the loss column.

it's ok.. it's home cooking... we don't bring it up when it favor us... I though we were generally aggressive though... at least until the 3rd quarter...

Home court is needed to beat this team tbqh. Refs and Ok City = bad matchup for Spurs.
