Just finished the game on DVR. The main thing I took from it is that once the Thunder turned on the switch against the Spurs in the 3rd it was quick pickings. OKC got tough on D, aggravated the Spurs offense and were emphatic in their conquest. The Spurs folded handily and Pop as usual throws in the towel.
    One team's "tough D" is another's foul trouble. It's all bull .

The disparity in speed is alarming, though.

People are giving too much credit to the Thunder because of that backdoor sweep in the WCF. Harden was a huge part of that series and a major reason why they won 4 straight. Our regular season struggles with them don't mean , tbh. We used to struggle with the Grizz and the media and fans alike would overreact when we would lose a regular season game to the Grizz, but what happened in last years WCF? Swept their asses and we own them this year. Same with the Clippers, even the Heat give us problems in the reg season yet the Spurs still took them to 7 in the Finals. I will worry about the Thunder when and if they beat us in the playoffs, until then those ringless gots and their fans can go themselves in their trailer while doing meth and watching thunderstruck on local tv.

Spurs ed out, this pretty much s up the entire season for me. Spurs still can't do against OKC, refs are part of it but not all of it. What a joke.

Kawhi was out most of the 3rd, non issue.
Didn't make that much of a difference when he was back in.

Yep. It's the speed/athleticism on defense that makes a difference.

Come on son, it's well known that I cliff dive/troll/talk during the game. But when you look at it in perspective the Thunder are a non issue. Take it for what it's worth.

Game was pretty much out of hand by then and OKC had huge momentum, we were still only down 10 with minutes to go.

Spurs offense is predicated on great ball movement leading to open shots. The Thunder are the quickest defensive team in the league and are the best at closing out on shooters. Our guys weren't ready for that tonight and it was quite easy to tell. If we play them in the playoffs, we will need to be ready to shoot the shot. Pump faking and allowing them to reset is exactly what the Thunder want us to do.

Mills cut it down to 8, I think, in the 4th. But Pop had already waved the white flag by then. One thing I have to admit is that Brooks kept Durant and Westbrook in anyway just in case........

Who gives a if we went 0-4 against the Thunder in the regular season. It's a whole new level in the playoffs and I think Spurs will be ready to face them if they both get to the Western Conference Finals.

Lots of awful calls. The reason OKC got so many fast break points was because of poor officiating. Parker was flung to the ground by Westbrook on one play.

Anyone explain why the Thunderefs have 7 more games with a 55-19 record? Are they only playing 81 games?

The league decided to give them one less game to heal all their wounds from the vicious fouls teams give them.
