contrary to common knowledge, the 6MOY is the award for the best non starting player. Crawford's .41% fg % isn't good at all and all he does is score.

Don't see what's so funny. He's averaging almost double the assists any other player has coming off the bench, and he plays about 10 less minutes than every other player that is nominated (Gibson, Crawford, Nick Young, Morris)..

That works against Ginobili, not for him. While it's impressive that he still manages to put up his numbers while playing relatively low minutes, the media just sees him having lower numbers than guys like Crawford. Not to mention that Crawford's impact shows up very clearly in the box score since he's a scorer. Ginobili's impact via playmaking doesn't always show up.

I think Ginobili is the best bench player in the league, but I'd be surprised if he won 6MotY.

Thought it was kind of common knowledge that the 6MOTY was Manu's to lose tbh, he's had a great season and Jamal has kinda just been typical Jamal. Manu has the narrative of bouncing back after a terrible postseason working for him.

On another note, Manu has been absolutely incredible most of the year and I'm so happy to be able to watch my favorite player, tied with Timmy, still doing his thing. Here's hoping to the same in the playoffs
