When they showed it on TV, it looked like he waved to the doctor, who came down from the stands and went into the locker room after him...
OK, thanks. I didn't see that. I always look to see if any of the training staff follow a player out.

    Somewhat less optimistic now.

If it were a bulging disc or similar such injury, would that end his season?

Didn't Diaw have a similar injury last season and only missed the first round?

I thought that was a cist on his spine or something like that which had to be removed.

FWIW, Re missed about six weeks with a severe form of that injury.

Tbh, Enrique is just coming up with another injury so he can blame his playoff failures on them. Injury scapegoat, per par.......

Interesting read. Thanks for that. Based on that article a bulging disc could range from almost nothing on the injury scale to season ending surgery. So, its hurry up and wait, I guess.

Spurs wouldn't lose in the first round. If they avoid Houston in the second round they could even get to the WCF.

Kawhi career high 26. Manu season high 26.

Coincidence? I think not. I'd much rather have the ball in Kawhi or Manu's hands tbh. More efficient and not sieves defensively.

Length and mobility. I'm liking the Spurs chances to make a deep run.

Tony Parker has played his last All Star Game IMO.

Manu scored 29 points against Blazers months ago. THAT was Season high.

Shooting 90% and 70% can only be a coincidence, especially when most of them are outside the paint.

They do get the ball more when Parker is out though.

yep, pretty clear on ST that Tony is a weak distributor, too much of a "shoot-first" PG.

I remember in the 13-game win streak of Dec 2003 that it was noted that Tony's AST were way up during the streak. And that was when Pop was still preferring defense to offense.

But Patty and Cory aren't good distributors/playmakers, either.

I prepared a short video showing both the foul/fall and Parker's exit, during which he waves to somebody on the medical staff to join him.

    (correct video published below)

Thanks. Doesn't look like much, but back injuries can be tricky.

. This is potentially bad. Hopefully there's no disc issues. If there is he may need to sit for weeks.
