Did all of the trolls/pessimists just disappear? Did they still find things to about ("Who cares, we're not going to repeat next year anyways")? Did they actually act like Spurs fans and celebrate?

unfortunately for Spurs fan the exstacy just lasts for a few seconds, then they start talking about how we won't be able to repeat and never repeated. and we have no chance in of repeating because Duncan has never ever repeated.
so nothing much changes except for about the 1/2 after they hoist the trophy
oh and let's not forget about the Manu vs. Parker Klans that will be feuding for the next decade about why THEIR player deserved the Finals MVP over the other

If by 'this place' you mean San Antonio, there is a lot of horn honking and screaming in the streets, and then in a couple of weeks there is a parade on the riverwalk, and then everyone in San Antonio pats themselves on the back because there is not a riot and looting in San Antonio as there are in some cities when a championship is won.

During the last championship run in 2007, Spurstalk's Mavs fans were the equivalent to the modern day GNSF. They had recently invaded during the 2006 playoffs and were consumed with arrogant silliness. Then Dirk won the MVP only to get destroyed by GSW and the Spurs won another championship. The Mavs fans then bowed down appropriately. If you look around, you'll notice some of those 2006 join dates. Their at udes are much more subdued today though.

Everytime they won a le though some team went out it seemed and added some major guys or tried to put together some superteam to detract from their le! 04 LA with Payton and Malone, 08 with Gasol going to LA in a trade later and Boston getting a big three that summer. They would all talk about that after the Spurs won the le to take away the hype and most would be negative and say no shot the next year. I remember that all to well after our les to overshadow it.
Half the board didn't even watch Game 2 of the Finals because of the series finale of The Sopranos.
That would be a rather empty argument, considering how close they were to winning 5 straight les 2003-07. So that.
You're free to say "but they didn't actually do it," but still...the argument makes it sound like they were incapable of repeating, but that's just not the case. Repeat or not, they were the most dominant team of the mid-2000s (the majority of the decade).

In 1999 people complained about the asterisk, and pre-emptively asked for Parker to be traded.
In 2003 people wondered if Duncan could ever win again without D-Rob, and asked for Parker to be traded ("he's worthless, Speedy Claxton has to sub in for him").
In 2005 people said Manu should have received the Finals MVP, and asked for Parker to be traded ("we don't need him, we have Manu").
In 2007 people complained that Parker had received the Finals MVP ("rookie Danny Gibbons was guarding him"
So as you can see, it's a lot different from all the other off-seasons, when people merely ask for Parker to be traded.
