hmm, usually when playing back on the xProtect and Video-Insight systems I've used (both excellent systems), one has only the selected 1-camera on screen, not a 4-camera screen.
but the video pause at the beginning and the cursor moving on the video control bar obviously says this is not real time, but a playback.

I can play back multiple camera with mine. I select the primary, and select the other channels to playback in sync.
