According to James, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder has done the most to deserve the award.
All but conceding the race to Durant, James said on Wednesday in Memphis that "it would be great" if Durant won the award.
"I think K.D. has had one heck of a season, and if he was rewarded with the MVP, it would be great," James said. "It would be awesome for him, for his family. It would be a great thing for him. He has played MVP-type basketball."
James went on to say that Durant has been "the most consistent basketball player as far as MVP this year. He has put up some great numbers."

Like I've said all along this is nothing but more evidence that the MVP award ain't worth ...think he would have said: "It would be great if Durant won the le this year."
LOL@
Kobe 5
TOSB 4
Lebata 2
Only thing on the King's mind is #3.
He's right, Durant is the clear MVP this season, tbh..
If Durant wants to join the pantheon of the greatest players in history, he needs to complete the feat of MVP + Finals MVP in the same season..all the true greats have done it, tbh, it's the pinnacle of basketball..
Who cares about MVPs
Just ask Karl Malone
Agreed...winning the MVP + getting curbstomped in the Finals puts you in the next tier, tbh.
What about winning the MVP and losing in the 1st round?
man all of your posts seem to have subtle shots at kobe one way or another
I've mentioned Kobe in a negative tone like 3 times in the past year, tbh..
I don't discuss retired players very often, tbh..
Just like the Admiral vs. Dream, tee hee.
- deflecting because he know he ain't being gifted the MVP this year. Trying to seem all gracious and - when we all know he's a prick. Not too long ago, he was seen dancing on the sideline as his opponent was defeated. Instead of respecting his opponent, he out there with Boobie Gibson doing Kid-n-Play. Of course, later on that same year, he went on to get swept in the Finals (after making his way through a weakass EC). LeBron.
beta male winning mvp? lmao
westbrick will put this clown back into his place
That bald headed bas is just trying to create the Jordan\Malone story line so he can plug his got ass name after he wins #3. Another gifted championship without any compe ion tbh
why do so many spurfans seem to dislike KD so much?
im a big lebron fan, but i can understand why people can't stand him, especially spurfans
but why KD?
I will say this if the Servant doesn't defeat the Great Satan he is going to go down as huge choker on a level that is even higher than David Robinson getting owned by Olajuwon in 95. I can't a recall a superstar player getting owned by another superstar twice in the finals at the same position. Durant and OKC if they lose to Miami will go into a tailspin next year. The stakes are high and the Servant better come through or he will be remembered in the same class as David Robinson,K.Malone,Barkley.
Because Durbeta is one of the most ref-reliant players of all time, is annoying as , and completely slurped by Media with zero scrutiny whatsoever![]()
Have you ever posted before without using the laugh or crying face or the word salty?
I forgot to mention the word Kirby which he uses 98% of the time. I wonder why this is so obsessed with Kobe?
Ironic, coming from someone whose posts were 90% consisted of the word "faygo" for the first year or so of his membership....
i like how he even hadin his response to "do you always use
"
