Good memories... I still remember lurking the site being down on the night of June 17.

Yep, I remember the build up. There wasn't that dread laced in it like in the '80's. Afterward I made many a long walk here. A man wants to be alone then, to commune with his thoughts and relive the agony of old losses and wounds and set them against the events that just took place. That mix of total loss & total victory I have found to be a special treat. Then I'd wake up on the couch, and just for a second I didn't know whether it was over-or-still in jeopardy. Then reality would hit and I'd drift off again:::Kobe goin' up, tryin' to find just a sliver of light to launch it and then that glorious bas double crossing the world, the entire coil and letting Artest take it home.
