Ayres wasn't a total nightmare, but Diaw's still sucking on offense most of the time and I still can't get behind CoJo has a rotation player at all. It should be Parker/Mills and literally nobody else.
I don't care that the Spurs lost against the Rockets by 6 points tonight. Rather, I'm content that Cory Joseph, Marco Belinelli, Austin Daye, Damion James, and Jeff Ayers were able to keep that close of a game.![]()

.... who cares they wont give no contribution to the playoffs, all im worried about are the starters and the 2nd unit, mills, belli and gino
IMO Pop saving hack-a-coward for round 2
won't need it if Baynes keeps toying with him, tbh
I don't think you've been watching enough games this season... Cojo is SOLID off the bench to bring the ball up. He's also making layups at a ridiculous clip lately.
yeah I also want Baynes is a beast by not backing down to the challenge of manhandling Dwight. I think Dwight is still clenching his butthole from last season's playoffs
I haven't, I live in CA and can't always stream the games online, but when I have seen him, I've been irritated by his shot selection. But that's just me.
Yeah I live in CA too. He does have a tendency to try and pull those Tony Parker jump shots off the pick and pop, but they're good looks nevertheless. He's been attacking the rim with layups and I really like what I see
I couldn't see the game but it's funny how the NBA can be. We put our Toros lineup against the Warriors, basically two times, and we can beat them no problem. Our Big 3 plays tonight for more minutes than one would think at this point and yet we still lose to the Rockets. I know that has no bearing on anything regarding how important/less important some of our players are in comparison to others but it's still weird how differently things play out in the league, and how a team can get away with more things against other good teams but not get away with nearly as much against another quality team. It really is all about the matchups. Oh well, we'll be ready whoever we face in Rd. 2. By the way, how did TD and Howard and Harden get their techs in the game? Were the Rockets being assholes?
Duncan got a call that even the Houston commentators said was bull . Fell on Beverly.
Harden got the T because Manu basically trolled him. Harden got mad because of a reach not called and then Harden lowered his shoulder at Manu and Manu flopped and got the charge call. Harden started barking and got the T.
Even if the Spurs bench is able to beat another team, you can count on Pop not doing that during the playoffs. That's WAY too big of a risk, and more importantly a slap in the face to the big 3
Of course, I didn't think otherwise but it's funny how much control we can have over one team like the Dubs and be willing to pull some crap to make us weaker and still defeat them but not be able to do that against a team that isn't much better than the Warriors, if they're better at all.
Haha, good ol' Manu. Thanks for feedback. Oh, but how did Howard get his tech? Please tell me Baynes got under his skin and TD was laughing at him again.
Slapped Manu in the face![]()
Our bench nearly beat a team with HCA in the first round. lol
I like that pop elected not to go with the best perimeter defenders in the league. Also, I dnt know if anyone else noticed , but when they put daye on parsons, he defended him awesome.
Hope he's playing D cause his shot has disappeared.
Daye looks like he would match up very well with Parsons. Daye is tall enough to guard a forward and fast enough to keep up.
Daye really needs to find his shot, tbh.
