I don't get anyone who has Mills in their top seven. Personally, he's ninth on my list after Beli.

    Big Three
    Medium Three
Small Three (Diaw, Beli and Mills or Joseph)
Tiny Three (Buyout Candidate or Bonner, Mills or Joseph, Ayres)
Microscopic Three (Bonner or Brown, Baynes, Daye)

Need all the top seven to play well, plus two of the next five.

    1) Parker
    2) Duncan
    3) Ginobili
    4) Leonard
    5) Belinelli
    6) Splitter
    7) Diaw
    8) Green

    9) Mills
    10) Joseph
I won't quibble about exact placement, but the top 8 on your list represent the playoff rotation with the exception of the minutes behind Parker which will be filled by Mills or Joseph if they're not absorbed by Manu.

They'll only be filled by Ginobili in an emergency scenario, whereby Mills is either injured or flames out. Since it's a virtual lock that Joseph will do the latter, they'll be forced to go backup PG less defensively (let's face it, Ginobili already is the backup PG offensively), both out of necessity and in order to get their best players on the floor. Barring that, if it's a limited to almost no small ball series, Belinelli will be utilized sparingly.

I have no doubt that Mills will be Parker's backup in Game 1, Round 1 and will remain so as long as he can hold his own.

I would swap Diaw and Green.
Diaw has been playing amazing ball this year.

I would rate Mills better than Parker just for the regular season. Dude has been better at both offense and defense.

I agree, tbh, but I wanted to avoid the 10+ quotes of criticism..

In the playoffs, at least, the rankings should depend on the matchups. Splitter was far more important than Diaw against the Mavs and Blazers, but Diaw is better against the Thunder.
