Literally all 3. Ginobili needs to rematch Game 5 of last year's Finals and just do that all the time, Diaw and Belinelli need to find their confidence.
For the Spurs to ring, who do you think needs to play better as of now?
- Ginobili (still playing good, needs to be a bit more aggressive)
- Diaw (if I see him miss another layup I'm going insane)
- Belinelli (he has been cold as of late)

you mean prognosis dummy
as I said before this team will only go as far as MVParker takes em
and for them to have a chance in Kawhi also has to play near allstar level
I think they'll be close, but unless Ferrari bails out a series or 2, the odds are stacked against us unfortunately
Manu just needs to keep his turnovers to a minimum (easier said than done with him).
I just can't wait for the playoffs to get there... I'm still not sure how much is coasting right now vs players being in a slump, tbh
We ended last season with major coasting, and they were great in the playoffs...
Parker needs to play a lot better than he has for most of this season, tbh, he has barely been an All-Star this year..it seems like he's coasting, though, so I'm sure he'll be fine..
Belinelli needs to make some shots, because he's going to get torched against anybody he's guarding, tbh..
Spurs can make the WCFs without Manu being great IMO, but they'll need him to have a big series if they have any chance vs. OKC..
The lack of anything resembling a superstar offensive player has been the biggest issue all season and it remains so.
Let's be honest, Leonard has been the best player on the team post All-Star break and even though that may sound good, it's really not, because they're not winning a championship if that remains the case.
Outside of that, my only other concerns are the Thunder and Diaw possibly being fatigued.
I really think Parker is taking it easy. He wasn't aggressive whatsoever and didn't really look for his shot most of the game. I think it's safe to say he is coasting.
Diaw and Belinelli, on the other hand, are struggling. Belinelli at this point went from looking like a role player that a team will have to prepare for to a player that would be a bonus if he went off, but not necessarily 'need' (sort of like Neal). That's mostly because of his below-average defense (still better than Neal's).
But Diaw's is a bit more problematic. We need him to be playing at a above-average level to be great in the playoffs. He really stepped up last postseason, and for much of the year he was better than that. He's simply tired. These days off should make him okay. He has a tendency to not be aggressive still, and he is missing a lot of bunnies.. IMO totally fatigue-related.
Beli needs to improve thats for sure at this level he could play for some Somalian team, I hope he will provide us some good games in key moments like the better Gary Neal we were expecting on Marco.
Still. Even since his 6 game rest, he hasn't had one sustained stretch of play that resembled that of the previous two seasons. You'd think at some point we'd have seen that to both prove to both himself and the team that he can still get to that level. Instead, we haven't even seen many full games where he's sustained. It's a quarter here, a half there.
They're the two that played in the summer, haven't really had a break this season and inexplicably play by far the longest stretches on the team regularly, so it could be fatigued. I'm not really concerned in Belinelli's case though, since he was due for some serious regression to the mean and they're not nearly as reliant on him for the playoffs.
I think your right. He looked really good against the pacers and after the game he basically said Pop called this a playoff game so he showed up to play.
That will only happen if he isnt in charge of making EVERY SINGLE play with the 2nd unit.
Im tired of watching the bench running and passing the ball without attacking. Eventually the clock gets to 10 secs...and ohoho! someone has to do something...Manu.
Turnover change increases greatly.
Lets see what happens this year.
Lack of a superstar offensive player? The Knicks have one of those and look where it got them. Sometimes I swear people look at PPG and nothing else in evaluating players. Yes, it would be great to have a Durant or similar scorer but the top 9 are very well balanced. Parker has another notch to reach and can (but doesn't need to) put up 20-25 a game.
Honestly, Diaw missing a few bunnies does not concern me as much as Green did last year. Diaw is pretty damn effective already and Danny has improved his ball handling and layups. Marco will come around, much like last night. Switches to a few back cuts, gets an easy basket or two to get back in groove and then shows up in the 2nd half.
I would think that the games will go a lot easier if any combination of Patty, Marco, Danny and Gino hits their shots. If 2 of them get hot, that should be the difference.
yeah cause you play the bucks in the playoffs..
Probably being captain obvious here but that's the only thing that really worries me about a potential thunder series. That front line seems impenetrable for him. Hopefully he was coasting in that whole season series *crosses fingers*
I've stressed this in other threads, but I'll say it again: Belli is going to have to find more consistency in his shot, especially on the road.
Leonard , Diaw -> They're very versatile and I don't see teams game plan for them. So if their shots are falling, Spurs will have an easier win.
