. I owe you a new screen...
lol, let them have the win, it don't matter. Rockets ain't beating us in the playoffs when it matters
. I owe you a new screen...
Please.
you're boring me......that's almost as good a response as "nuh-uh"

Roxsfan, you've seen how TlongII can jinx a team...don't drop that on us![]()
you mean sweep right? You seem overly dismissive of the Rockets. That's cool - I highly doubt the Spurs will take them lightly. I think the spurs will be hard to beat, but tbh, I believe they fear the Rockets and deeply want to avoid them.

NEVER address me and him in the same sentence brah.: I'm just keeping it real. I'm not trolling or dismissing the spurs at all.
If the rox don't beat the blazers (which I doubt) or if we lose to the spurs - I'll be the first to congratulate the spurs fans - even if it will be hard. They either win when it counts or they don't. I'll still be back.

Probably the usual.... Blake and DJ play well, but get zero help from the rest of the team, especially CP3, whose nuts shrivel at the sight of those black and silver uniforms, tbh.... meanwhile, Danny Green and MVPatty become prime Reggie Miller and prime Ray Allen
If CP3 would just get over his fear of the Spurs, it could be a compe ive series.... otherwise, Spurs in 5 at the most![]()

........
Too many rockets fans nowadays are chinese internet boys in love with their Chinese idols. Add to that Houston's natural sports inferiority complex and it can get quite ugly.
I actually don't have a problem with them outside Harden's ref assistance and McFail. I like Parsons, Harden (when he isn't being a ), and Asik, as well as Beverly for doing the lord's work last year. I'm indifferent to the rest, including dwert.
i notice a strong correlation between teams embarrassing us and us hating them
McHale is the only Rocket I can't stand. He was a dirty player (remember him clothes-lining Kurt Rambis?), a dirty GM (remember the illegal deal that cost Minnesota, what? 5 first round picks? An NBA record penalty. Then, when he was about to be ousted he trades KG to his old team Boston for almost nothing. Timberwolves fans must really hate this guy). Then, some of the things he tries as coach such as stepping in front of Timmy on the inbounds....
Yeah, James Harden has some annoying stuff, but if he were a Spur, we'd all still love his "craftiness." If McHale were part of the Spurs organization, I'd want him booted out of here pronto.
Everybody in the league does it to some to degree, but Harden and Chris Paul do it the extreme - create/search for fouls on opposing teams. Don't get me wrong, I think Harden and Paul are great players, I just don't like that part of their games, only because they do it so blantantly and get away with it.
Two of the Rockets wins were meaningless early season wins and Spurs literally didn't even need the last game. So let's be real, those L's didn't mean much. The top team doesn't fear anyone. Doesn't matter what team it is, Spurs or not.
Now that doesn't mean I don't find the Rockets to be a good team. I always have respect for good teams and have probably watched more than my share of Rockets games on league pass. Imo they are too hit or miss like the Warriors were last year. They would be fortunate to push SA past 6 games imo. It's possible but if Spurs and OKC are healthy I'd bet on them over Houston this year.
As for being dismissive, I never do that. Just look at Spurs recent history. Wouldn't you also be confident in your team if they were that good lately too? That's why I'm not scared of other teams, not because I think the Rockets are bad bro.
Haha, mah . You were lookin large and in charge.
You got it half right.
That's cool. I get where you're coming from. As for the early rocket wins over SA, it may be meaningless to the Spurs - I get that - but they were good measuring sticks for our "new" squad. later
Tpark was on TV again? How is it no matter what city this guys in they show him on TV?????
Very true. In fact, I'd say that we'll end up getting Harden on our team when he's in the twilight of his career.
Yeah, I can see that. For the Rockets it's a big mental boost. I won't act like it doesn't mean something for them. Just for the Spurs. . .honestly they probably don't even know they haven't beaten the Rockets this year. I doubt they think about early season games still, and you know they phoned it in in the last game. Spurs have been phoning in the last few games since they have HCA locked up already.
But enough about Spurs for now. Rockets are gonna have a tough first round against Portland. Both teams can go hot/cold, so I expect some blowouts and maybe a fluky win due to 55-60% team 3pt shooting. Rockets are the better squad but Portland's been playing better lately. Gonna be a close series there man.
Looking forward to rox vs tailgayzers.
G/L vs. mavs - that German can go nuts - but Spurs are the better team.
Tailgayzers, lol.
Mavs ain't tbh. Every other team in the playoffs besides Memphis would easily knock out the Mavs in 4-5 games. They might push the Warrior or Blazers to 6, but that's it. Weakest western conference playoff team in years besides the Jazz and Lakers last year. The top 4 west teams would all probably sweep unless the Mavs fluked one.
But yeah Rockets/Blazers and Clippers/Warriors is gonna be good. Watching every game in those series tbh.
That's exactly how other team's fans feel about Sean Elliott.![]()
No, if they lost the last two, they could have lost HC against Portland. Just take it that are bench can actually hang with their starters when they are trying their best. That should more of a positive than a negative IMO.
