Grizz record vs both since the 2011 playoffs when Griz beat Spurs in 6 and lost to OKC in 6.

    SAS: 2-14
    OKC: 8-8

Another crazy curveball for Dallas. Big decision for them:

A win vs Grizzlies causes the Mavericks to lose a 1st round pick in a loaded draft but sets up a match with OKC
A loss vs Grizzles sends the mavericks to San Antonio but we get a 1st round pick as a consolation prize

Based on this, they should just rest, take the loss to Memphis, and collect their pick. They're not getting out of the first round either way.

    This season
    OKC vs Dallas 1-2
    OKC vs Memphis 3-1

    So...Go Mavs on Wednesday!
In their losses to the mavs they were missing 2 starters once and 3 starters once.

I'm pretty sure they can lose and still lose their pick. They are still top 10 if toronto or chicago don't pass them. Toronto and chicago are both 1 game back but im not sure on the tiebreakers if they end up tied with dallas.

This is the Western Conference playoffs. There are no 'gimmes' and you can probably throw out past performances against specific teams because of injuries and such.

I expect OKC to beat either team--but it might be helpful if Memphis beat up on them for seven games, giving them back some of the physicality the Thunder dishes out on defense.

If the Clippers win tonight, I wonder if OKC would be tempted to tank the finale to fall to 3 and set up a matchup with the Bogut-less Warriors. If LAC somehow jumps OKC and Memphis wins, you'd get Clippers v. Grizzlies for the third year in a row. Wonder, too, if the Coippers would rather have the 2 and second round HCA against anyone or ensure that they avoid Memphis.

The Thunder need to get their together and not slip up against the Grizz. I've been waiting two years to see the Playoff Spurs vs. Playoff Thunder. The regular season is meaningless.

The Mavs did win and so did the Spurs.

Think Rosie Perez from White Men Can't Jump.
