I'd laugh but then again the Lakers got their ass spanked all season
The coward dj. What an asshole.
I'd laugh but then again the Lakers got their ass spanked all season
Nobody is front running here, love the Lakers, I probably watched more games this season than Quattro and most and I'm still talking Lakers all day with friends and where they go from here. I'd say 90% of Laker fans have jumped the gun to Clippers which made their loss great today. I lost the Lakers from thebesteva because I can
Yeah cuz you're a "Clipper" fan right? Not a Lebron fan?
No... if anything, 90% probably hopped on the Warriors bandwagon....
lol you Let's go Warriors
CN is right though for once, most Laker fans including John Ireland the holy Laker sucker were talking about finding a new team to root for. I am casually watching the playoffs, rooting for Lebron to lose. However, Lakers and Broncos all day everyday no matter what.
As I always say, the sad part about Bandwagoners is they dont truly get to enjoy a championship when their team wins. Sadly, most of the guys I saw passionately debating Kobe V Lebron from 08-11 have changed their 24 jerseys to Cp3 jerseys
You just relax, daddy-O...your nite comes tomorrow nite.
Chop/chop.
Your nite already came and went, Suns/Cavs. Now get the shoeshine back out, you missed a spot.
tee, hee.
All BS aside, if Clippers lose again in the 1st round its like beyond a joke. Comparing themselves to the Lakers franchise and talking about us is embarrassing when they cant pass the ing first round to save their ass. THE FIRST ROUND!!!! This is hilarious
I've already said that if another first round exit happens, it's time to start shopping the loser Choke Paul in trade talks, since it'll be clear that he won't win anything of note here, tbh.... this postseason is basically a referendum on his legacy and he's already off to a bad start....
He's your GM though...
I'm shocked tbh. How in God's name this team manages to choke year after ing year with a stacked roster like this and now with the missing piece aka Doc Rivers. I mean im not expecting a chip or anything but the first round for a team like this should be a formality.
Maybe struggling to make the Finals would make more sense for a team of this caliber, but not the first round. I dont know why it is, even though their jerseys say LA, I hate those Clips and Im glad to see that got Doc Rivers cry like a like he did today. That's for covering the 16 banners with gay ass selfies.
At some point, it stops being everyone else's fault and starts being Choke Paul's fault.... if this team chokes again, it's all on him and I don't think his legacy will ever recover, tbh....
Sadly, this team reminds me more and more of the early '90s Sonics by the year - they were a very good (and athletic) regular season team as well that always collapsed inexplicably in the playoffs....
Lots of "fake" stars in the league these days, tbh... You saw it with Dwight last year, look at Melo, DeRozen, CP3...
Still think the Clippers turn it around and win this series... but it's gonna be a struggle.
PG led teams tbh, they are never le worthy.
I still think they have a legit shot at winning as well. But I don't see them in the same league as OKC and SA at this point in which they should be. Their roster is stacked, their coaching capabilities have improved, they have a great record. It's now or never. At least make it to the WCF, losing in the first seals the deal for this particular nucleus.
I got 15 more cans of Kiwi & a mohair brush to go with each can. God willing your Spurs will fall & you'll sit on my lap & shine, sweetheart.
I had a discussion with CN about that about a week ago... didn't see them a contender or black horse yet... it's early, but I haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise...
To his credit, he called the Pacers meltdown right, and I was wrong about it.
What legacy? Having Media sponsor & carry his ass for a decade & counting. That's his legacy.
Just thank your lucky stars you're with the Spurs. Otherwise, I'd cloud up & rain all over your junior ass.
To be fair, I did say that I was skeptical of the Clippers until they prove it in the playoffs, but also that the Pacers should be questioned just as much instead of it just being assumed that they'll "get it together".... looks like I'm right so far - we choked per par, and the Pacers' meltdown continues....
In other news, I talked to a few Laker fans today. They still feel we're 3-4 years away from le contention. I genuinly feel with Kome's take on winning NOW, I have the Lakers being out of le contention for at least 7-8 years.
Starts from the top....
Hopefully Jim Buss will die soon and we can get back on track
lol flop city
"We made mistakes," Griffin said. "Some of us, myself included, maybe wanted it too much and came in with an expectation. We just need to relax."
Foul trouble plagued both teams, but losing Griffin and Paul for stretches cost the Clippers at both ends. Besides Lee, Andre Iguodala fouled out with 3:04 left in the game.
"I kept putting myself in a hole," Griffin said. "I got to do a better job."
Darren Collison made one of two free throws, giving the Clippers their first lead since early in the third at 103-102. After Collison's block and Jordan's rebound on the defensive end, Paul led a 3-on-1. But Harrison Barnes blocked his 5-footer and then hit a 3 for the Warriors.
"I probably should have given the ball to J.J. or DC who were running with me," Paul said.
Down 108-105, Paul got fouled and missed both. His fifth foul put Green on the line and he missed both. Collison got possession, but turned the ball over when he stepped out of bounds, one of 17 turnovers by the Clippers.
"There were a lot of times where we lost our trust in each other," Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. "We made too many mistakes to win."
"All that hype absolutely had an impact on how the game was called," Rivers said. "A lot of them were touch fouls."
