Marco is like Neal in another way. His defense is so terrible that I've been posting for awhile that his defense would cost the Spurs playoff games. He's just not a noticeable upgrade over Neal, tbh.

I think he has slightly better D, but I know what you're saying. It has been off as of late.

Doesn't change the fact that it's the closest thing to an Achille heel we have... Replacing Neal SJax by two minus defenders and undersized to boot never looked good on paper...

Dallas is selling out to guard the 3 point line. They're GIVING us the paint. Don't drive and kick, drive and finish. That is the only thing that will bring their defenders in off the line.

Gotta diversify the offence tbh..More Leonard, and set something up for Green...

Also, gotta stop going over the screen against ellis tbh...He's one of the better attackers in the game so I don't understand why they continue to go over..

There were several plays that ended up with Kawhi backing a smaller defender down. While somewhat successful, that leads right into the Mavs gameplan tbh. They are defending the three pointer like if it's top on the agenda. I agree that green should have some plays run for him to get some shots up in rhythm. We just got to start moving the ball around. The Mavs are switching on everything and that usually ends up with missed defensive assignments if the ball is moved around the way it should be.

Just finished watching the half as I joined a little late ... what happened to our ball movement? Dallas sucks defensively, but the Spurs do not take advantage - without Parker we would be toast already. Very disappointing, but I hope they come back more focused and are just a little out of sync because of the noon game time

Jax/Neal were worse defenders than Beli/Patty.
