Getting into the playoffs and getting SWEPT, as the Mavs are 25% of the way to being, is no better than missing. In fact, it's worse. We get a better draft pick, and the Mavs embarrass themselves against the best in the West. L-M-A-O.
Part of the fan experience is being able to cheer your team on. Those extra couple of games are worth it.

And you quit on the lakers when they needed you the most. That's made and shows what kind of person you really are.
When they needed me most? What did they need, you simpleton coon?

Where were you when your children needed you most? Another statistic i saiddddd

Put all our posts in this argument side by side and highlight where I was proven wrong. Can't wait to see this.

Also, with all these "non-scrubs who are all capable of popping 20 a night" AND having HCA, it's kinda made to back off the bet I offered, but not everybody sticks to their convictions and believes what they say, so it's par for the course I suppose
You're making this out to be more than it is. You got ahead of yourself (which happens - , Kool was talking about having buttsex with me at halftime) because the Spurs were losing and not playing well. It's clear you haven't watched the team very much and having to root for LA has jaded you some with all the losing, quitting and stupidity.

You were proven wrong last year when the Spurs made the finals and this year as well. You were proven wrong by saying they were too reliant (using this first half as a forum to post your thoughts) and despite getting nothing from the "scrubs" and from 3, they still won. So that kind of proves that wrong. They are reliant on their team, they aren't "too reliant". Big difference.

What did I back out on? I didn't agree to something, then back out. I said despite the fact the Spurs are a damn good team and that guys like Danny aren't like scrubs such as Nick Young/Kobe, that I don't like the match up with OKC enough to bet. I think the Spurs can beat them, but I wouldn't bet on it. It's a tough tough match up. Not only that, if they play OKC, it means they are in the WCF again which disproves your point that they are too reliant to really make a run.

He's a scrap-heap find that would be a fringe player on any other team/coach. The proof is that he was in the league, then out of it due to uselessness. And yes, the Spurs rely on too many scrubs to win a le. I already stated they would sweep Dallas well before the series started, so not sure why you brought up the 3-point stat (lol counting on 3's to fall in the playoffs anyways).Only by the Grace of God were they even in the Finals last year...their entire compe ion was injured, except for a team that struggled to score 90ppg (Memphis). Almost 2007 levels of pathetic routes
Just because he bounced around and has limitations doesn't make him a scrub. Again, scrubs are guys who can't really do anything positively consistently, especially on good teams. Danny makes a noticeable impact on both ends on a team that's considered one of the best in the league. That's not a scrub. Sorry.

money over family? Some people have jobs that require them to travel away from home for lengthy periods of time.

Not everyone sits around on welfare, cheating the system to rack up n!ggerkels.

sons, I've noticed a recurring trend from you. You just sit back and try to throw haymakers every post but end up stumbling and bumbling over your feet every time. I'm not saying you should commit suicide but if the viability of choosing to cease your existence were to cross your mind, it might be in your best interest to explore that possibility.

God bless you and the family this Easter Sunday, KBL.

Some much typing for so little substance. I even reiterated at halftime (when you got defensive) that I still thought San Antonio would sweep. Dallas just isn't that good, and their only stud is on the downside of his career. So--why are you bringing this game ups as a leg to stand on in your argument sine we both agree this will be a quick series?

You know how I know you're getting defensive? You're bringing up the Lakers without provocation. They suck and aren't in the playoffs, what an astute observation.

You also said those scrubs were capable of going off for 20 a night on any given day--couple that with the fact they have HCA and were 28 seconds from the Finals last year (albeit on a neutered WC playoff run). So, with your own words and false bravado, I'm just curious why you won't accept a friendly wager when you have so many alleged studs on your team.

I am drawing a comparison in a form you will understand because of the team you root for. You used this first half to grandstand your thoughts and got burned for it. You weren't posting that opinion during their 19 game win streak. You waited until you thought they were down to post it.

I brought up the Lakers because that's who you root for and know hence the "Nick Young is a scrub" comparison. I was trying to illustrate who a scrub is in terms you understand vs Danny Green. That would be like me saying your upset because you're posting on a Spurs forum in a Spurs playoff thread even though LA is out of the playoffs. It's just silly. how is it false bravado when this team with those "scrubs" made the finals last year and have the best record? I am stating facts. I also stated a fact that OKC is tough on the Spurs. That's quite literally the exact opposite of false bravado.

Did you pick them to go to the Finals at the beginning of last year's playoffs? How'd you predict they'd do in 2012? in 2011 (the year you melted down to _JaG after the Memphis series)? Nobody calls them all right. Oh, and I'm willing to bet you $___ that I said OKC would still beat them at least once during that streak. So, another chance to back up your grandstanding claim. Name the dollar amount and I'll get to work. Or you can just say you were wrong and we'll leave this be like civilized people.

btw, Nick Young sucks and is worse than a scrub. He's a scrub with an ego--but that still has nothing to do with this topic or this thread, for the record.
