Wouldn't shock me if it reaches 150 tbh, with 30 being dedicated to ing out the officiating (and it'll mostly be warranted).

If the Grizz can win the next one I see this series going 7 and the winner being a tossup.

If they lose game 3, then it is over in 5.

If it goes 7, would you be more confident in this year's Grizzlies team than the team that took OKC to 7 in the 2nd round in 2011?

no, grizzlies have literally a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of winning a game 7 in OKC

Just remember, in 2011 when the grizzlies stole game 1 from us, everyone thought we were gonna walk into fedex forum and win one and we came back down 3-1 and the series was over, if the griz show up, they can do the same thing to OKC

Zbo will continue to age well because his athleticism as he ages is no worse than his prime

he can continue to be a gorilla/bowling ball for the next 3-4 years as long as his stamina holds up

Memphis hit the jackpot with their new coach..instead of playing four down like any other team with bigs like that of Gasol/Randolph, Joerger has promoted ball movement and offensive sets which utilizes the talents and versatility of Gasol..

Memphis can get as stagnant as any team, you obviously haven't been watching them a lot.

Conley and Beno did a great job of getting to the hole in the pnr d right at the free throw line area. They didnt go all the way to the rim so ibaka could send their shots back. They took the little jumper or floater. Conley also did a great of probing and shifting laterally on the pnr while keeping his head up looking for guys.

The thunder know tony is a north south guy and if he gets to that same spot, he id going all the way to the rim to score, or kick out to three from under the basket so they wait for him at the rim and stay home on the shooters over and over and over. Thats why the struggle offensively.

So after the grizzlies beat OKC, they'll likely advance to face the LAC, who they have had success with. We could be looking at a repeat WCF, and NBA Finals.

OKC has no answer for ZBO and Gasol tbh that high low combo is too dirty. Add on to the fact that Scotty brooks can't coach and will let Westbrook continue to chuck up threes in crunch time

OKC scored 105 points last night, with overtime, IN OKC

Memphis breaking out the lube for that backdoor sweep.

I can't believe people are trying to argue that Memphis' offense isn't abysmal. It relies on Conley floaters and Lee long twos in as their perimeter scoring. That's horribly unsustainable. This was literally the best game the Grizz could have ever hoped for from their smalls, and they squeaked by a Thunder team that was being assassinated by Westbrook. If anything, this demonstrates just how big the gap between the Thunder and Grizzlies is.

acting like Udrih, Lee and Allen shooting 15-21 while Durant and Westbrook shot 23-56 isn't a fluke.
Freeing up Miller is the key.
Without him draining 3's OKC loads up in the paint.
Also got to get the ball out of Durant's hands ...easier said then done ... but Russ runs hot and cold.
Ibaka has a nice mid range jumper but the lessor of evils when faced with Russ dunking or Durant raining 3's.
Dont think Memphis can win this but they will make OKC work for it as will the Clips.
That should help Spurs if they make WCF as I expect.

Their offense is horrible. As spurraider21 pointed out in this thread, they get into their sets with single digits on the shotclock. That is unsustainable. It's crazy they even won one game on the road. They'll lose one at home, lose game 5 on the road, and the series will close in their building at 6.
They're an incredibly resilient team. They had an answer for every haymaker OKC threw at them. Unlike the Spurs, these s show no fear of these methheads, or their refs. Theyre just gonna keep grinding. Nothing about tonight was fluky or unsustainable for Memphis. What was fluky was Kevin Durant hitting a 3 pointer while falling out of bounds, and getting a bs call. What was fluky was Conley going 1/2 at the line. That won't happen when the entire meth enraged OKC crowd isn't yelling at him.

The only thing that isn't sustainable was the fair officiating tbh

Dude took 28 shots tonight to get 29 points. Dude ing DESTROYED his team on offense. No flow, most of the time he was just ISOing and hoping they could collect an offensive rebound to clean up his .
He started off well but when they stopped falling, he did not stop shooting.
I like the kid but that loss was on him. Sure he got wise when Durant was hot but should not have taken that long.
I dont mind him being aggressive, he needs to be.
Get the team off to a good start by scoring? Sure. But once you suck in that defense you have to look for the 2nd best player in the NBA.
Chuck called it at half-time. He normally says dumb but Barkley knew that was the wrong course ... unless he is doubled Durant should always lead OKC in scoring by half-time.
