Just a good win for Memphis ... San Antonio should leave Dallas in the dirt in games 2-4 and have a nice resting time while the other West teams beat each other up ...
Go the Grizzz cubs. Westbrook needs to leave downtown to the big Texan.

This. But the way we played in game 1 I dont see us leaving anyone in the dust.
I was hoping memphis drew okc in the first round so gasol and Zbo could soften up there bigs and allen and lee could get after westbrook and durant lol. My wish is apparently granted.
Beno rocked it, I couldnt believe it. Nothing athletic at all, just running around screens and rising up for the jump shot. He's not even fast but was able to lose his defender as he slowly ran around a high pick.
Beno has always been a baller and in general a fundamentally sound pg. He is also a huge vagina, so there's that..
Conley and Beno did a great job of getting to the hole in the pnr d right at the free throw line area. They didnt go all the way to the rim so ibaka could send their shots back. They took the little jumper or floater. Conley also did a great of probing and shifting laterally on the pnr while keeping his head up looking for guys.
The thunder know tony is a north south guy and if he gets to that same spot, he id going all the way to the rim to score, or kick out to three from under the basket so they wait for him at the rim and stay home on the shooters over and over and over. Thats why the struggle offensively.
Good for Beno, came up big to split against one of the best.
I knew somebody was going to make a thread about it when I saw the boxscore - I'm not sure I would have bet on you making it though
true! on both counts.
Beno with the goods, per par. 36 points per 36 minutes. The goods.![]()
Beno taking a a page off Tony Parker's playbook for the jumper off the screen. If you can control your body coming off the screen for the mid-range shot, that shot will be easy as pie because it's unguarded; defenders will still back up because they think you're going to gather to the rim.
Dude did great last night. Looked like a different player altogether.
props to Beno but tbh with a frontline of Gasol and ZBo any NBA capable guard should be able to succeed IMO
"Good job, kid, now let's go put a hurt on some breakfast tacos!"
Beno is dominating OKC tonight. Again.
A good day for Slovenian point guards - congrats to Beno and Goran!
Wasn't he very good against the Spurs this season when he still played for the Knicks - that home loss we had? If we somehow face Memphis in the playoffs I would bet that Beno makes much more of a difference against the Spurs than that Calathes guy ...
I want the Spurs to face the Thunder in the WCF but I have to admit its been fun watching Beno and company smack them in the mouth. Really dislike the Thunder. Harden was a perfect fit for them. That dude's more disgusting then all of em.
The Thunder need Lindsay Hunter to get him under control.
Beno had a good game....Every dog has his day...I hope the Grizz give him a big fat contract and tie up lots
of $$$ in him...Go Beno Go
Beno >>>>>>>>>>>>> Mills
I'll still take Patty![]()
