DeRozan has had a nightmare start to the playoffs. He's obviously overrated, but dude is playing scared/stupid. And wow, has Ross disappeared. If either one of those guys show up, they can win.
17 TOs on top of 2 of your starters completely ting the bed is a great recipe to lose in the playoffs. They have to take care of the ball and DeRozan/Ross have to pull their heads out of their ***.
Ross/Lowry combined 2-16 on the night.
Lowry needs to step up too, but he's at least doing other things. He's doing a fine job on DWill and rebounding/assisting. DeRozan shooting terribly, not getting to the line and he's getting eaten alive by JJ. Ross on a different world right now. He has to learn to be impactful if his shot isn't falling and he can't.
Plumlee has really improved as the year has gone on. He's playing really well.

Yeah, don't really see DeRozan or Ross looking to create for others either. Settling for contested jumpers seems to the way to go in Toronto.
you can stick a fork in ToLOLto if they lose this game, IMO.
TOR can more than compete with BKY. BKY isn't a team likely to blow you out. TOR seems like, if they can get a win, that some key guys will settle. They need to break that cherry.
And to think the Nets are doing this without their best player in Brook Lopez,,,,team has heart to overcome losing a 20 pt/gm player in the paint,,,,the rook stepping up big this year.

Turn overs, bad shots = DeRozan in the playoffs. Amazing how some guys have so much panic in them. He's not an All Star really, but he's better than this.

Man, if TOR had a Kawhi Leonard instead of Ross they would be damn good.
A lot of youth on this Toronto team so I can't be so hard on them. But they need to be more assertive, get into the paint. If you're going to go down, go down the right way, knowing you played the game properly and without tentativeness. And these lack of rotations on the defensive end is something that should be unacceptable.
DeRozan missing FT"s too..one of the better shooters in the game at the line.
