How did Kevin Durant and LeBron James make it on this list?
How did Kevin Durant and LeBron James make it on this list?
Some dumbass voted for KD, LeBron, and GriffinI think he got his MVP votes mixed up
Some yahoo somewhere added them because they are beat writers and needed the connection. It's the corruption that infests sports media.
Hilarious that Phoenix has #1/4/10 most improved players in the League in the same season, but not the Coach of the Year.
I knew it was gone the moment they missed the playoffs, but seriously, what, career underachievers just radically improve on their own the same season?
Phoenix gonna get Comeback POY as well.
Though that is more a tip of the cap to Suns medical staff.
On this, we agree!
All the awards so far are well deserved.
I hear ya on horny, but Pop pulled of the best record with so many injuries.
He also got big years from Mills, Diaw and Belli who were good not great elsewhere.
Makes sense.
Isaiah Thomas should have gotten more votes IMO.
Spurs fans don't think Dragic improved. We know what he's capable of already.
The Suns entire roster is basically a Most Improved candidate. Dragic, Green, Morris, Plumlee, so many guys had career years.
It was Mike Smith, the dumbass homer announcer from the Clippers.... it's going to be a real sad day when Ralph retires and we still have to listen to that idiot![]()
Good for him. Definitely deserved this award. A shame they didnt make the playoffs.
LOL Rox could of had Dragic at Lin money ...
Morey!
Griffins vote isn't abysmal tbh. He has stepped up this year. But he shouldn't be getting first place votes![]()
Would have been really interesting had Bledsoe not missed half the season. He and Dragic would have surely split votes.
Or Lowry.![]()
Them, and Green, who was effectively the 6th Man in 34 games off the bench at 15 PPG, 45%/42% shooting, in just 24 minutes.
Green actually had the highest PER jump last season to this of anyone, and as a starter, while points/assist/steals all saw a nice jump in the extra 8-10 minutes, his efficiency numbers decreased, so he may have had an even higher PER as a sub, and likely would have won 6th Man since Phoenix makes the playoffs with a healthy Bledsoe.
Bled's injury cost him guaranteed Max money and a chance at Most Improved, likely cost Green 6th Man, possibly cost Hornacek Coach of the Year, and definitely cost the Suns the playoffs.
Crazy that trickle down effect.
Congrats, well deserved. Plus Stephenson is highly overrated, so I'm glad it didn't go to him.
Yep, forgot that ... mad stats genius ...
Gotta be the COY
DRAAAAAGIIIIČ!!!!
Well deserved. Suns as a whole played incredible ball this year despite Bledsoe injury.
if the Suns were in the eastern conference Hornacek runs away with COY imo
