Sunday (DVR time) the NFL Network will replay the game as it happened, this is the one where Joe Namath guaranteed the win. You'll notice the difference in the game was at running back, the Jets having power back Matt Snell and speedy Emerson Boozer while the Colts had slow white cats Tom Matte and Jerry Hill.

Perfect chance so see a very important part of pro football history.

I do wonder just how serious this place is about football. One of the three biggest games in the history of pro football and nobody cares, wow~~~~~~~~

Real fans of the game would say....

The Colts had both Timmy Brown a great all purpose back and Preston Pearson another gret all purpose back, both were game breaker types. Not once was either guy used on offense. That was stupid!

We saw future Hall of Famers...

    Johnny Unitas
    John Mackey
    Joe Namath
    Don Maynard

    .....in the game.

There was also Colt cornerback Lenny Lyles out of Louisville who was called "The Fastest Man in Football". Until Olympic gold medal winning sprinrers Bob Hayes and Henry Carr entered the league after the 64 Olympics. We also saw Maryland States Emerson Boozer one of the first great HBCU running backs.

You guys really do need to widen those horizons you're way too limited.

Now tell me little guy what do you know about handicapping the NFL? There are some teams that play great heading into a bye week, some who suck. Some who play great coming off a bye and some who suck in that "spot". Then there's those Thursday night games, tell me slick what teams play great after one? After one on the road..again?

I toss out on this board because it's ing funny watching the reaction, nobody here having a clue about things like home dog vs road favorite. , here you are still talking about it, hahahaha! Do you really think a guy as deep into this stuff as I am can't hit 65-70% vs the spread? Do yoi realy thinbk I'm going to do all the work then give out plays for free?

And what % of football fans have that? I don't and nobody is more of a fan than myself.

That Colt vs Giant game in the 50's, the first AFL vs NFL game (before it was called the Superbowl) Superbowl III the most important games in pro football history.

Dude, every week on a Friday we get the best 5 plays from the Vegas wise guys on The Herd tv show at 9:45 am. If they agree with me I play them, those have been my plays for the last few years. We're talking about 68%. Knowing we have a lot of punk guys here I like to watch them act stupid so I play with them.

I play 110 to win a 100 and that never changes.

Next season tune in to the show and you'll see what I mean. Ignore Colin's picks, go with the pros.

If those ers were so smart they'd place big money bets and keep quiet about their picks. It's the frauds who sell their picks. "Call now for a GUARANTEED winner"

Above you mentioned Emerson Boozer being one of the first stud running backs out of those HBCU schools. So who were these guys prior to 1970? How you do this Avante is amazing, as you know I don't know myself.

    Here ya go midget.

Niner JD Smith who started out as defensive back was the first HBCU back to rush for a 1000 yards in a season he was out of NCA&T. Clemon Daneils was the first Raider to rush for a 1000 yards in a season he was out of Prairie View. Hall of Famer to be Leroy Kelly played for the Browns, he was actually on the roster in the Jim Brown years, he was out of Morgan State. Then there was Willie Galimore one of the greatest breakaway back ever, he was a FAMU Rattler. Paul "Tank" Younger was the first Grambling player in the NFL, he was a Ram.

And ya got all that for free.

Marc Lawrence is a professional gambler. he puts out a magazine every year all about how to win playing the point spread. Thousands of angles/stats, he makes a living selling his plays. I personally heard him win the S ust Line (radio show) some years ago, he hit 72% of his plays. Go ahead Google Marc Lawrence. Then Google Wayne Allan Root another great pro handicapper.

Sorry my man but yes there is a science to this and some who understand it. There is a reason we rarely see bad teams win back to back road games and good teams lose back to back home games. There is a reason home teams coming off a Monday night game struggle vs the number on the road the following week. And on and on and.....

So who was the first stud wide receiver out of those HBCU schools?

    No problem small fry.

That would be Hall of Famer/Olympic sprint champ "Bullet" Bob Hayes. Who was a college running back while at FAMU.

Why try and talk about things you know nothing about? Dude, dide ya miss part about Marc Lawrence winning that radio contest and hitting over 70%? Why ignore what I told you about that Friday TV show, dude we are hearing their picks, ok? And they are winning....ok? Do you really think there isn't a very real system to picking vs the spread? Are you really that naive?

Google those names I gave ya, try learning something, ok?

Why would I give out real plays for free? I do a lot of work then look for agreement from those wise guys I mentioned. If we both agree what are the odds of me going 1-2? Not too good over a season.

I just around here and it should be obvious. Look at the reaction it gets, look at you "still" talking it and this thread had nothing to do with betting.

    One more time...

Dude, actually find out what Im talking about something you aren;t doing. Then you'll know what you're talking about, ok?

Not even a little bit. When will you actually find out what I'm talking about? Stop trying to talk about things you are too lazy to find out about. Google those names, try learning something for a change.

In his magazine Lawrence gives you some time tested plays, situations that hit most the time, if ya just played those you'd be hitting over 65%.

Dude, why not learn something? Right now ya look like one of the dumb kids here who refuse to widen those horizons.

You're a Raider fan yet have no clue about what ATS situation the team thrives in.

Who gives out real $$$$$ making plays to guys who do nothing themselves? Look at yourself, too lazy to anything at all, ya never Googled anything, and that's the mentality here. Just a bunch of kids who have about as much depth as a thimble.

Would ya believe your Raiders were almost called....The Senors? That's what seperates me from the kiddies here.
