Every time the spurs have started out the first round 1-1 they have ended up winning the le.
Smh. Yes because Tim and Manu are still in their primes.![]()
What's the point of watching the games now. The basketball gods have spoken... Can the Spurs repeat in 2015??
I have never seen this "fact" before, ever...
2009 and 2010 too.
I'm pretty sure this stat is wrong.
Prime Parker - so disappointing that 38 year old Duncan still needs to carry the load in order for the Spurs to win.
It would be an awesome stat, if only it were true...

Yeah I forgot about '09 and '10. But if you want to nit pick the spurs didn't have homecourt in '10. '9 and '11 I throw away since Manu was out for '09 and in '11 he had a broken arm.
Mods, delete this stupid thread.
Well, if you want to cherrypick stats like that, then you can pretty much make any conclusion you want.
If thats the case then have the mods delete all the cliff jumping threads.
Right and thats my point too many people are jumping off the cliff by cherrypicking stats.
Maybe it'd make more sense if you said, "every year the Spurs won the le, they started 1-1 in round 1?"
lol. post more stuff!!
Yeah I should have started it out like that. The purpose of this thread was just to show how you can't compare stuff to the past and assume its going to happen in the present just like how people are saying this is like '11 Grizzlies series.
Thank God you don't keep stats for the NBA.
Why are you lying? That was not the point of this thread and you know it.
If you have read all the posts in the game thread I have been trying to hammer that point across.
I think the real stat we need to look at is, If Jeff Ayres plays minutes for your team you lose a series.
