You can massage your clients in 1.7 seconds, why can't VC pump-fake and pull-up with 1.7 seconds too?
From the time he got the ball to the time he released it, 3 seconds passed, and then the buzzer didn't sound until the ball was halfway to the hoop
Why do they not start the clock on time? If I didn't see it and you told me he pump faked I would say no way he got it off in time. Either way I thing the Spurs figured some out tonight and the mavs luck is about to run out.

Was a good shot, simple as that. Manu jumped too soon and Vince had time to really take a comfortable shot. Giving credit where credit is due, VC did his thing when his number was called. We'll see what happens in game 4. So far OKC & The Pacers answered back, Spurs can hopefully do the same

They always tend to do that in the nba and no on ever seems to call them on it. They dont start the clock until well after hes caught the ball.
Just look at .4. Can one physically catch the ball, turn around, and take a shot..the ball leaving your hands cleanly...in less than half of one second?? No, that is impossible.
If you watch the replay, he catches the ball, and turns around, AND THEN THEY START THE CLOCK.
Watched it 5 times put a stop watch to it no way it's less than 2 seconds but closer to 3. I'm not saying we should even be in that spot against the mavs but why is this so obvious but no one says or does anything about it.
It's accepted, just like refs swallowing their whistles late in the game.
Also, did anyone notice how Monta Ellis got the call on Diaw but Manu went down and did the same thing, and no call????

The ball didn't even go in the basket if you look at it in slow-mo. nba screwing us again with phantom 3's.
It felt like a long time to me also, but if you pause the video when he catches it and then play and immediately pause, it goes to 1.6 pretty quickly. If the clock was slow to start, it isn't more than .1 or .2 delay.
Sick to watch. I still believe they can right the ship and win. Will they is another matter, but I'm not giving up.
spurs shouldn't have been in that position anyway. we wouldn't be debating this if they had played a better full game.
