You should probably set your expectations at a reasonable level. Spurs had a top ten player last year in Duncan. Parker also played like the best point guard in the league and had his best playoff run to date(until choking in the Finals). This year, Duncan's still good but noticeably worse than last year. Parker's taken a nosedive - not even a top ten point guard anymore. Pathetic really, considering he's the youngest of the "big three." Ginobili's improved from his dismal performance in last year's playoffs but there's only so much he can do at his age. Spurs are a good team but, without top ten player, they're not going to do much damage in the playoffs. They'll probably beat the Mavs but I don't really like our chances vs Portland or OKC.

If they find a way to lose to the Mavs, it will be a choke job just like the Memphis series but would only prove that the Spurs were never as good as they appeared to be.

That is ridiculous. If we lose, we have 3 games left with 2 games at home. It's not a terrible position, although obviously not ideal.
