I usually enjoy TNT playoff games because I get Marv Albert or Kevin Harlan but Chris Webber and basically nobody else? The Spurs better impress tomorrow because Webber is going to suck the life out of the game for me.

    +1

By the time I saw your last post in the other game thread, it was already too late to start one. Again. But I have more confidence in this thread than in the other one so I agree that this is the official game thread and not that other one started by that y, jinxing fool.

    Agreed. Very dry announcing.

For all the flak that Webber gets, I think he did good in last game.

Webber was pretty funny in that one commercial about never winning a ring, tbh. lol

The homer in me can't stand any announcers unless they're wearing Spurs colored glasses on every play like I am, tbh, so I can only watch Bill and Sean.

There's no way I see us winning 2 straight against these Mavs if they snatch a win on our floor tonight. The momentum is still very much in their favor with that fearless underdog at ude of theirs. A win at the AT&T Center tonight would all but seal it for the Mavs, in my opinion. So, the stakes are VERY high tonight. If we win this series, I think it will have to go 7 games, because I don't think we'll steal another win at their place. That crowd will be way to pumped up and energizing for the Mavs. If the Mavs win tonight, they could very well close it at their place in 6.

The Spurs must come out firing on all cylinders tonight and get the AT&T Center crowd pumped up and on its feet. We really can't afford any more collapses like we had in game 4. We are very fortunate we built a 20-point lead to cushion us, because it gave us some room for error. The Mavs might have blown us out in game 4 if it wasn't for that. We MUST build a solid lead at STICK WITH IT if we want to win in convincing fashion. I don't know about you, but I'm not sure I could handle another down-to-the-wire-in-the-4th-quarter game. Way too mentally draining.

Anyway, here's hoping the Spurs come out ready to play tonight. X-factor for the game tonight: Boris Diaw.

These playoffs, I've been sacrificing getting to listen to Bill and Sean to get the better HD feed. TNT's HD is about 5x better than FSSW, if not more.

They are. I actually didn't realize Bill and Sean were still covering games. Did they announce in the playoffs last year?

Green shouldn't be shooting jumpers off the dribble. Pop needs to draw up plays to get him wide open shots from three, like in last year's playoffs.

Dallas was all over the 3 point line. I think Green had no choice.

that. Green can run around or stay on the 3 point line. Do not dribble, do not go for a layup, do not shoot anything in front of the 3 point line.

I don't mind C-Webb. His insights are better than some others like Reginald W. Miller III. Doug Collins is the best though.

True dat. I spent too much on my TV to waste it on FSSW's HD feed. TNT's is waaaaaay better.
