Those gots have no problem when Dirk flops and probably loved all of Barea's flops too![]()
It would be awesome to see the Spurs blow back to back 3-2 series leads but I'm not optimistic at all. And my Mavs have to win game 6 to even have a chance of it.

They aren't your mavs, but their asses will be the spurs' now
the german attack had so much going for them till the alliance woke up
If it makes you feel better, the Spurs are 1-3 in Game Sixes over the past three years.
They are my Mavs . And that 2011 championship is mine too. Still butthurt over 6? Spurs and Lakers fans always sticking their chest and bragging about owning a million championships. Well guess what ers, Mavs fans got one too.
Mavs fluked a ringand I gots that ring
too
They aren't your mavs, get the over it ass . Their asses already belong to the spurs though, so you can take it up with Duncan (who is into that anyways)
Calm down scro, no one's looking down on your 2011 run or your fan card.
My Mavs are the only team to eliminate the Heat in the Finals and eliminate Tim Duncan in a game 7 at home. Nice try though. The butthurt is strong in you.
Thats why the went from champions to a non playoff team ?![]()
Fluky run, and they still aren't your mavs. Like I said, get over it. Maybe Cuban will go full on shark tank mode and sell the team after you work long enough hours at your toilet cleaning job to buy them.
They are my Mavs and always will be my Mavs. Nothing you say will change it. I am the master and commander, .
Nope, still don't see it.
Calm down brah. Mavs have been fantastic in this series and it's not yet over. I won't be surprised if Dirk and company call pull off a Game 6 win, tbh.
If Spurs play blazers thats gonna be an interesting series. Blazers have been very young and strong while Spurs have been Spurs. I think a Rockets series would be easier, but maybe Im wrong.
Rockets are loaded with Spur killers (Harden, Parsons, T Jones), the Blazers are tough but they ain't got any depth, their starters have to play insane minutes every game. Blazers will be worn out in another 7 game series, granted they win this series.
Says the one who has the king of flopping (Paul) on his team and his apprentice (Griffin).
The Mavs have been tremendous just to get it to a sixth game. This Spurs team is a machine. That they were able to disrupt that machine and be the better team for the first three games...I'm not into moral victories, I want the upset, but I am proud of the way they have hung in there against the Spurs. If OKC loses to the Grizz, I see SA handling either Portland/Houston and then LAC/Memphis/GS. Mavs are playing the likely conference champs really tough and if they can get it to a G7, anything can happen.
Mavs are already overachieving as they've proven wrong those Spurs fans who thought the series would be an easy one. If I were a Mavs fan I'd be proud of what they've done regardless of the final results. Mavs had their chance in this series but they pissed their chances away, which was as big a pity as our 6, but I still feel proud of our performance in the 13' finals despite the result so I think Mavs fans should be proud of their team too.
Not proud at all yet.
They proved they are good enough to not just hang with the Spurs, but beat the Spurs. They outplayed them for 14 of 16 quarters in the first 4 games, yet only won 2 of the 4 games. The ways they shoot themselves in the foot is not due to lack of ability or talent... its due to selfishness, lack of focus, and a lack of heart and effort. And its extremely irritating to watch.
If they beat the Spurs, I will be proud.
If they lose to them, I will only be upset seeing that they could have very easily dispatched the Spurs in 5 if they would have simply been more mentally focused. They have a great coach, good talent, and the matchups were very good for them. There is no excuse for playing with a lack of heart (Wright, Dirk), being selfish to the detriment of the team (Monta, Harris, Vince), or good FT shooters missing countless FTs (virtually the entire team).
14 out of 16? Spurs won every quarter in game 5 and if it weren't for Vince's lucky ass shots the game would have been a blowout and the series should have been over by now.
They have a better coach? We have the CoTY. Good talent? A chucking point-guard, an ancient carter and a tired Dirk? No they could not beat the Spurs let alone beat them in 5 games.
You are one delusional fan who doesn't appreciate what Mavs has done, make the Spurs work.
idk about all that. As a fellow _allas MavPrick fan, I have to agree with Findog in almost seeing this as a moral victory that it goes 6. Yeah it's irritating to watch it get close and then appear to slip away but pretty much all the time, the winner of a playoff series is the team that gets the easier shots more often. Either by superstar play, teams that can generate wide open 3's, big men down low, or guys like Lebron/Durant/Harden who can ooga booga their way into the lane and get to the foul line more often.
The Spurs have a system that continually gets them easier shots whereas the Mavs really don't other than the stretch where Ellis was getting open shots off the pick and roll (good luck with depending on Ellis to carry you a whole series lulz). tbh this inconsistency has really been how Dallas has played all year. Get the typical contributions from Ellis/Dirk then have some random 3rd player play way above his head.
Devin Stockton Harris
Vince Drexler Carter
Djuan Blair Chamberlain (in that brief stretch in game 4)
Samuel Mutombo
etc
I wouldn't say anybody is playing with a lack of heart. Dirk is just too old to go God mode every night and Popovich is mercilessly attacking him on defense on all game.
I see you missed the part when he said 14 of 16, meaning the first 4 games not including the 5th.
I know that. The point of my post was he was being so delusional thinking Mavs is the better team, his claims were of a fanboy.
It's true that the Mavs had a really great shot to put this series in a vice-grip but they didn't get it done. You have to give some credit to San Antonio. They are just better and over the course of a series that is going to come out - the coaching is essentially a wash, and both these teams have oodles of playoff experience and the Mavs can match the Spurs in terms of veteran execution and poise. Teams like Dallas and San Antonio tend to not beat themselves - you have to outshoot and outwork them. The Spurs just have a little bit more depth, fewer holes that they have to plug than the Mavs. For Dallas to win a series like this, every break has to go your way instead of it being a wash. Going ice-cold at the end of Game 1, falling into a hole in Game 4 and having to expend huge energy just to make it a game again. For this Mavs team to have a chance against this Spurs team they essentially have to be perfect instead of pretty good.
I don't think it's true that his Mavs team hasn't shown enough heart, fight and poise. Yes, they have not capitalized on some missed opportunities, but I think it is an accomplishment to be going home playing for a chance to send this to a 7th game, and anything goes in those. I'd give the Mavs a 2/3 chance of extending the series on Friday and a 1/3 chance of winning a G7 in San Antonio.
