Probably pressing the gas pedal a little too hard during the streak...
I believe in this team but just wonder if this team has peaked too soon? Also is it possible Parker is gassed after last years playoffs and European championship? Dallas has been playing playoff ball for the last month so they have a higher level on intensity coming into the series.

Probably pressing the gas pedal a little too hard during the streak...
I dont think so
iirc parker wasnt even a major factor in the streak, but the spurs have to put it all together now
Dallas will slip up now that they feel like they have the advantage in the series and we take them in 6 tbh.
I will be replying today to topics that posters like this ^ know not to panic as well as all the "get rid of POP' we suck topics to expose the bandwagon fans.
And if the Mavericks happen to lose? Just curious.
No they haven't. They have struggled this series which is a blessing, they will take every game much more serious and hit there stride at the right time.
maybe... time will tell... during the streak the roster wasn't full so im not sure...
I don't think they peaked to early. It was just all the sitting and lineup changes over the last week of the season that threw the Spurs off.
Spurs came out lazy and flat footed in the 1st two games. It happened against the Warriors last year. Then Splitter showed up and gave the Spurs spark they needed. Same exact thing is happening this series. And give credit to the Mavs, they played the best basketball I have seen them played since their '11 le, especially in the 1st 3 games of this series.
I hope the Spurs can close out tonight so they can have 3+ days to rest up for the next series.
There's no such thing as peaking too soon.
This concept of "peaking" is so ridiculously ing stupid I don't even know where to begin.
If the Spurs are playing bad (present tense): "The Spurs peaked too soon"
If the Spurs are playing well (present tense): "The Spurs are peaking too soon"
great sig, tbh

The top graph is how naive spurs fans think basketball works. They want this magical, ideal peak to coincide with the playoffs.
The bottom graph is how basketball actually works (many local extrema, lots of variation).

I wouldn't say that I just think Dallas probably one our toughest match. They know us better then any other team. Just like always a classic series between two respectable franchises.
