So, you're going the 4 rings got route? I just wanted to know how guys that root for Floyd feel about him feeling the need to get any pity advantage he can despite being supossedly the best in the World.
He was just trolling his haters while getting all up in Maidana's head rent-free, tbh....

If he was just trolling he would have ed a bit but then let Maidana use his gloves. Instead he rejected ten pairs of officially approved gloves and made him wear some foam padded ones that didn't even fit him. If Broner had the chance to choose Maidana's gloves in their fight I bet he wouldn't have been dropped.

Floyd put his greatness on full display in this fight. Even when Maidana was throwing 100+ punches a round early and pushing Mayweather on the ropes, Money May was hitting like 60% of his shots and was still landing as many punches as Maidana while the dude attempted twice as many punches, Floyd adjusted and abused him in the 2nd half of the fight with some easy hook shots.

Only knock I have against Floyd is that he's too defensive at times, when he could be aggressive and knock the guy out, but I guess he doesn't care about KOs, he does what he does and he never loses. Manny would get embarrassed.
    Agree 100%.
Just wish he was more aggressive.

Define what boxing is to you. And no, it's not knocking someone out all the time.
I boxed in Wild Card for 4+ years man, we all clowned around about Mayweather. Whose the greatest name on his resume? Corrales? Hatton? Dela Hoya who split decisioned him past his day? Overall, May ducked all his A level threats. I assume Im gonna hear the same I heard from RJJ fans, "he just makes them look like no bodies!" Yeah, we saw what happened once he faced a dude with reach and power. At least RJJ faced Toney and BHop in his prime. Floyd looks good against B level fighters, but he doesnt look THAT great. Hes not looking dominant, he comes in, punches once or twice and moves out the way. His most impressive asset is that he cant get hit when against the ropes, thats about it.

I don't like percentage stats in boxing. A percentage doesn't hurt you, punches do. Besides, even blocked shots still hurt some when you're getting a couple hundred thrown at you... It's a different thing to say that Floyd was more crisp, but that shouldn't come at the expense of of volume. (Floyd outlanded Maidana anyways. If he hadn't it would have been a different story imo.)

Floyd doesn't go for the knockouts anymore because his hands can't take it. They've been too brittle since he's been a welterweight. It's understandable that he'd rather extend his career than go for meaningless knockouts. If no broken hands means he can box for an extra year or two, that's an extra 80+ mil Floyd pockets.

I still can't believe that Maidana only gets $1.5 million while Floyd gets $32 million. Unreal

Im not really trying to hype up Manny, Im simply saying most Mayweather fan boys havent seen boxing for decades. I know the boxing game like the back of my hand, Ive talked to MANY hall of fame professional fighters (I used to work at boxingtalk.net before it kind of faded away) and they all agreed Floyd is fighting in a weak era. Overrated Pernell Whit. tbh
