Pop stopped making sensible decisions sometime around 2006. SA were fortunate to have coach Bud last year during our Finals run. Pop looks lost without him

The team, if I remember correctly, was bought by fans (very small team) and all the decision were made by them, including subs utions, via the internet on real time voting.

I think the Spurs lost that year when they allowed the Kings to take them to 6 games and the Mavs swept their first round. They had a short turnaround for game 1 then barely won. Game 2 they got blown out. Giving up a game in tight series was costly.
