the refs have been horrible tonight (against us), but that shouldn't be any excuse. the spurs were simply the better team. you showed up today and we didn't.

before the series started I never expected us to fight you until game 7. we did better than I thought.

Predicted a spurs sweep, tbh...they themselves probably did as well. Old codgers can't afford to go 7 games in the first rd, tbh. Next up is Portland, who they'll likely beat in 5 or 6--but then it's OKC. Bet they wish they had a 2007 or 2013 path again

As long as dem Clips can somehow take OKC to 7 (or maybe beat them) Spurs will be fine rest-wise if they somehow get past Portland and do so as quick as you say. What's been exposed is how bad they look when their bench is shut down. On the other hand tho, OKC also looked pretty ty against the Grizz.

Grizzlies have been a thorn in OKC's side since their cores have been together. I knew that series was going the distance (and predicted as much). Spurs, OTOH, got about as good a matchup as you could hope for. A team they'd beaten 9 straight...most of those being easy W's. I think they'll rebound nicely and play well against Portland, but I'm also afraid that'll bring rhe false hopes of spursnation back. Better start wearing your Clips gear imo.
