Depends on how Stotts defends the Spurs IMO. If he gives the role players open looks like Houston got I think the Spurs win in 5-6. If he employs the same strategy Carlisle did they could push our Spurs tbh.
Spurs in 6 if they can win their first two home games. If they lose one then it'll be tough to beat the Blazers tbh.

Spurs in 6. They dodged a bullet not having to play Houston. Portland will be tough but their similarities to Dallas will be an advantage. If they steal one of the first two games then I may change my opinion. Also helps that Portland hasn't looked as dominant at home as I expected so far in these playoffs.
I agree, with the caveat that the first two games will be closer than they need to be because Pop pushed Green down the rotation again. Midway through Game Four, Pop lets Danny play, which plays a large role in the Spurs stealing that game, and it's not particularly close in Game Five.
Isn't Green the Spurs' best option for defending Lillard? Or will Pop be afraid of Mathews abusing Parker in the post?
I don't think Matthews has much to do with it. I feel Pop is under the impression that Leonard is the Spurs' best perimeter defender in every situation. That's why he had Kawhi on Ellis during the beginning of the Dallas series. It wouldn't surprise me to see Pop use him on Lillard and Green on Batum, who's a bad match-up for Danny. Kawhi would struggle, but because Green would also be struggling, it would take Pop a few games to realize they'd both play better if they switched guards. Pop's slow when it comes to depending on Green. Remember the WCSF last year?
Hard one to predict. I really dont care much for predictions since 90% are bull , but the challenge here is if Portland can overcome the inexperience because they are obviously the more athletic team. Spurs have to control the pace or else theyll lose. 2-2 season split makes me feel it comes down to coaching, so I give the clear edge to SA.
Spurs in 2.
The Spurs will win this one, although the Blazers are better than the Mavs they just don't have the coaching/experience that Dallas had..
I think it'll surprise most people too, the Spurs will thoroughly dominate, probably win the series in 4 or 5 and then their fans will start dreaming of that championship banner #5... until it's time for Cheseapeake. That's when the real game begins.
I thought you were a Spurs fan, got.
Green on Lillard and Splitter on Aldridge are no-brainers. Hopefully Pop doesn't try any other dumb tbh.
That's too bad, because Green and Splitter can destroy the Lillard/Aldridge pick and roll. As long as you stay at home on the other shooters, that would crater the Blazers offense.
sure.. Like Cubby and the Suns, I'm vested in the Spurs' demise, and the self inflicted genocide of that fanbase.
How important is coaching in this series, and will it make a difference really?
Nuh uh. There ain't gonna be no Methapeake for the Spurs..... Guests/Clipps for all the marbles![]()
Spurs/Clips is gonna be a fun WCF bruv. How's CP0 gonna perform when he finally gets to where the big boys play?
He'd be Enrique-ing it for sure, riding Blake and DJ's coattails and getting all the credit from Media![]()
Clips actually will be a tough matchup for dem Spurs if those two keep playing like they have been. Can't believe DeMonkey had it in him to dominate.
This post has 3x schtick-stealing all wrapped in a pretty little bow. Enrique. Coattail. Media. You had such a promising career CN, why'd you choose this path?
You stole Dale's cuckhold schtick except you're actually living it in real life![]()
This makes no sense whatsoever, it's based on nothing but what popped into a cranked out Oklahoma hicks head one night and you're running with it. Sad. Separate yourself, cream rises to the top, drop the GED crew
The Spurs in 6. Both teams win on their respective home arenas for fun, and then the Spurs flatten the Blazers in Game 6.
