if the recording didn't come out, you guys win in 5 tbh

players more worried about how they're going to show protest than how to win the game

I simply cannot see any team having the issue Spurs had with Dallas without Dirk playing all-star levels. The Spurs did what they were expected to do, what they were fully capable of doing with ease - yet the fact that it was a dogfight is a testimate to the Spurs not being the team we see during the season. Energy is a commodity which the Spurs cannot exhaust as well, another drawn out series will be detrimental.

Understand, FI, the Spurs didn't step up to beat Dallas, they stopped ting the bed.
look how many people on here said the Grizz would get swept by OKC or beat in 5, I never said like that, I knew that would be drawn out as well. It's a cliche but the playoffs are an entirely different animal than the RS. Maybe the Spurs shat the bed at times, but they didn't today.

Not sure why Lakerfan keeps harping on these things, Lakers have quit multiple times, especially under Rapist, when that en lement check didn't come through. Spurs are still scrapping, with no superstar either, and survived. Can't ask for more than that imo.

OKC is not the team it once was as well. However, I will wait and see like I always do.

I owe no allegiances to the Lakers, FI, you will be baiting a freshwater fish in the sea with that talk.

my bad, then I guess that was for Venti above you.

I think OKC is the league's choice, just because of the possibility of Durant bolting, and then their Seattle project turning into Cleveland etc....But who knows, lot of variables that can't be accounted for or controlled, even by the powers that be.

I'm not going to say the Spurs are the favorites. It's definitely a tall order, but these are my ride or die s. Just glad they're still competing, real talk.

not really. GS won a fluke game 1, and you guys blew em out game 2, won close in game 3. had the momentum, and they players suddenly didn't show up for 4 despite their brave practice gear shtick

They were always going to have at least two hot shooting nights regardless of how the series began and Games 4 and 7 were like that.... meanwhile, you let Wince Carter, a career choker, hit a clutch shot in your eyes, and made Monta Ellis look like a non-scrub

Spurs beating the Mavs in 7 games is like that college student who successfully finishes a liberal arts degree in 7 years instead of the 4 years that is expected of him.

DrayFlop Green actually did a better job defensively than I expected, tbh.... took Blake a while to figure him out but he finally did when it really mattered, tbh....

and the spurs figured the mavs out when it really mattered. at letting Green to a good job on blake, the guy you claim is a more deserving MVP candidate that Durant

Durbeta made Tony Allen look like prime Pippen defensively, btw

True, but he got the degree. Could be like that student who quit school, even after getting another chance when raping a coed. Least this Mavs series tempered my expectations, I'll just enjoy the ride for what it is.
