Reading Spurstalk
last series it was Kawow on Ellis
Today it will be refusing to put Green on Lillard
Giving Bonner 15 minutes because he can guard Lopez and drag Lopez out of the paint when the Spurs have the ball.
Putting Green on Lillard so Parker can guard Matthews. Lillard, and Aldridge will get there's. It is Matthews and Batum that worry me, more so Matthews.
Took the picture right out of my mind
Green on Batum and Kawhi on Lillard. Also, Mills on Williams instead of Ginobili.
It's not bad to throw multiple defenders on Lillard throughout the series. Putting Green on Lillard from play 1 game 1 and letting him stay there will do nothing but let Lillard figure out how to beat him eventually. Danny isn't that good. Lillard would figure it out if he had all game every game to test it out. Green should be on Lillard at the most important times of the game throughout the series but not all game every game. He isn't bruce.
Pop has to let mills be the "blair" of this series.
Not doing one of numerous alternatives to any given game time decision if the spurs lose.
Something not in this thread that the hindsight posse will claim they had been screaming from the beginning.
Well said. Some people act like all you have to do is throw Green on Lillard and that automatically takes Lillard out of the series. I wish it were that easy.
Giving Marco Belinelli playing time
If Jeff Ayres plays more than 2 minutes and it's not a 30 point lead Pop should be blood and urine tested.
not playing green enough minutes, if the dallas series was any indication
Taking minutes away from Splitter to play Baynes
Taking minutes away from Tony to play CoJo
Playing Belinelli too many minutes
...what? Oh, we won? By 25? Oops.
Does Pop get credit for playing Baynes, or is that another blunder because we only won by 25 instead of 50?
Good call
